📢 “Ferritin aggregation cell engager for CAR T avidity engineering against refractory leukemias”
Li et al., 2026. Cell.
🚀 Takeaways
This study reframes CAR T optimization by focusing on avidity engineering rather than receptor redesign. By using ferritin scaffolds to cluster antigens, CAR T cells achieve stronger and more durable responses—even in difficult, low-antigen settings.
Ferritin-based engagers represent a promising, flexible strategy to enhance CAR T performance and tackle resistance in refractory leukemias.
