We brought it for 2025.. how about 2026 ๐
Cuttin it close at this point but everyone knows I can pull off miracles ๐
Big shoutout to @3PlanetStudio @Binx3ps for being a huge supporter of web3 music and artists. I don't know many in the community who have been here since day one! Are you ready to make @NFT_NYC 2025 the best yet? Follow, share & lets make it happen.
Whenever someone dies unexpectedly whether itโs by suicide or โan accidental overdoseโ, and headlines say things like, they โstruggled with addictionโ, or โ struggled with mental healthโ it makes me so fucking mad.
That line right there does more injustice to the victims than saying nothing at all.
We need to change, โstruggled with addictionโ or โ struggled with mental healthโ to
โstruggled with unbearable pain for personal matters we know nothing aboutโ
Because these tragedies, in my experience, almost, if not always, lead back to a pattern of childhood abuse.
In 6 years Iโve watch the same peeps get all the interviewing and spot light and you wonder why we never grow here.. itโs because it clear as day that no one new can open the doors when the doors are clearly blocked.. real truth but donโt hate me for calling it out when you all see it too.. ๐ญ๐ค

Tomorrow night I'm going to read my book. The whole thing. Start to finish, over the course of the week, live on Spaces.
Some of you know I've been working on this for a while. Some of you have no idea what I've been doing. Here's the short version:
I wrote a novel called The Creature From Jekyll Island: Pepe Edition. A five-generation American family saga hiding inside the history of money. So from coal mines and script to quantum computers, from 1893 bank panics to Bitcoin. In this book, the Federal Reserve is not a building. It is a monster.
The first edition sold out. The second edition sold out. People who read it kept finding me to tell me it changed how they think about money, about history, about what's coming.
While building the hardcover I went back into the manuscript and refused to stop. The finished book is now roughly 60% larger than the previous edition. Not 60% more blank paper. 60% more book.
This is the version I can finally say I am finished.
Tuesday the first fifty hardcover proofs go up for auction on @scarcedotcity... signed, hand-numbered, each one personalized. But tomorrow night the auction is still closed. There is nothing to buy. There is only the book.
If you have never cared about Bitcoin auctions, ignore that sentence. Come hear the story.
Monday 8 PM on Twitter Spaces. Stay as long as it holds you. If it doesn't hold you, dip out with no guilt.

If it holds you and you want to know about the auction, I'll explain the rest between chapters.
i hope you can join me
I'm gonna say something that's probably gonna piss some people off, but at this point, whatever.
The mental stability of society is getting fucking scary.
And the more technology advances, the more I'm watching PEOPLE go backwards.
I've spent the last year picking my book back up, and now I'm adding another book to the series because apparently the story wasn't fucking finished.
But writing again did something I wasn't expecting.
It woke ME up.
About Third Planet.
About my life.
My money.
My intentions.
My dreams.
And who the hell I'm willing to keep spending my energy on.
Then I went to the conference this year and, yeah... that pretty much sealed it.
We're still screaming "community" while people are putting artists against each other for entertainment. People are fighting outside the fucking conference doors. Ego is at an all-time high. Everybody wants attention, everybody wants a title, everybody wants to be somebody...
But who the fuck is actually BUILDING anything that matters?
Some of us OGs have been standing here for YEARS trying to hold the line on what this shit was supposed to be about.
Ownership.
Independence.
Artists getting paid.
Real community.
Real opportunity.
Changing broken systems.
And somewhere along the way, it turned into a fucking circus.
No loyalty.
No gratitude.
No accountability.
No bigger picture.
Just clout, egos and a whole lotta riffraff screaming "community" when they don't even know what the word means.
And here's the irony...
We can build AI.
We can build virtual worlds.
We can reinvent finance.
We can tokenize everything under the fucking sun.
But apparently we still can't fix basic human decency.
Technology evolved.
People didn't.
And maybe THAT is what my books, my life and Third Planet have all been trying to teach me.
I've spent years trying to build the ecosystem I wished existed. Artists, venues, media, professionals and technology actually working TOGETHER instead of everybody using everybody until there's nothing left.
But here's the lesson that cost me a whole lotta money, sleepless nights and sanity:
You cannot build a community for people who don't understand community.
And you sure as hell can't bankrupt yourself trying to save everybody.
I've poured my money, connections, opportunities, time, reputation and heart into this mission.
I'm proud of what I built.
But I'm done setting myself on fire so everybody else can stand around the fucking campfire.
So no, I'm not quitting.
I'm just getting REAL fucking selective.
Who gets my energy.
Who gets my connections.
Who gets my opportunities.
Who gets my stages.
Who gets my money.
Who gets access to Third Planet.
And who gets access to ME.
Picking my books back up made something finally click.
The awakening wasn't realizing the world needs to change.
I've known that shit for years.
The awakening was realizing I need to change how I move through it.
And trust me...
I am.

@Binx3ps scooped up @moonlight_tyo and heading to the @thewavyawards pre awards warm up event at Drom!
No matter how many people have tried to use me, steal from me, betray me, discredit me, or take me downโฆ Iโm still fucking standing.
I may bend.
I may disappear for a minute to get my shit together. But I always come back.
Everything Iโve been through just taught me who deserves access to me ...and who never will again!
Still here. Still me. Still standing. Stronger than ever!
Careful of the lanes you cross!
Not a day goes by that the music biz doesn't make me sad to see how fubar it truly is
Iโve been in and around the music industry and media for decades, and one thing Iโve never felt the need to do is sit online listing every name Iโve worked with, worked for, stood next to, interviewed, helped, or had access to.
Hell, I hate even talking about who my godfather is.
Because to me, your credibility should come from the WORKย not how many famous names you can attach yourself to.
And after all these years, one of the saddest things Iโve watched happen in this industry is ego infecting the people sitting in positions of media power.
We talk constantly about labels, managers and venues taking advantage of artists. But media can become another gatekeeper too.
When the goal becomes hoarding content, controlling access, protecting your own name, watermarking your importance and making sure YOU get the credit before the artist gets the exposure, youโve lost the entire fucking point.
Media covering an artist should HELP THE ARTIST.
The interview should help them.
The photos should help them.
The footage should help them.
The article should help them.
The relationships and connections should help move their career forward.
It shouldnโt become another person standing at the gate saying, โThis is mine. I got the access. I control who gets it.โ
Thatโs not supporting the music industry. Thatโs using the artist to build your own relevance.
Different position. Same game.
If we actually give a shit about independent artists surviving, then media, venues, managers, promoters, labels and everyone else surrounding them need to remember something:
The artist is not the product you use to prove how important YOU are.
Our job should be to amplify their work โ not build another wall around it.

A strong identity will cost you opportunities before it creates them.
That is the price of becoming recognizable instead of interchangeable. #IndependentArtist

Couldn't say it better!
Possibly unpopular but honest take on @XSpaces after hosting weekly for 4+ yearsโฆ.
X got Spaces wrong, and creators are making it known.
You can show up every single day, host for hours, build real relationships, grow a loyal little communityโฆ and still walk away with zero dollars and zero new followers.
Under-monetization isnโt a side issueโฆ itโs the core problem. Thereโs no meaningful way for most hosts to get paid for the time and energy they pour in. Youโre basically volunteering free labor while X keeps the platform running with your content.

Meanwhile TikTok Lives routinely pull hundreds of listeners (LC trial, anyone?).
People are over there making actual money, building audiences, and not fighting the platform every single session.
Sometimes you just want to share thoughts in your bathrobe, half-asleep, no camera required.
Pure audio lowers the barrier. Spaces used to own that medium. Now a lot of those low-pressure, high-substance chats are migrating elsewhere because the incentives and reliability just arenโt there.
X had the first-mover advantage on live audio at scale. Instead of doubling down on creator payouts, discovery, and stability, it let the product stagnate. Thatโs why the pivot is happening. @elonmusk @benjitaylor @singhai
