Today would have been my little brothers 31st birthday! And coincidentally I think I felt the baby move for the first time

Dr. Tracey is one of our chiefs and part of our family. She is four months from graduation, and is facing advanced renal cell carcinoma. We are so grateful to see such widespread support from the surgical community. No one deserves this support more than her #MedTwitter
Please share & consider a donation. This resident had to leave her medical residency as she was recently diagnosed with advanced renal cancer. As a survivor of renal cell carcinoma this is so near & dear to my heart. #NurseTwitter

Serious #MedTwitter question. How does any one in residency afford safe daycare and diapers etc monthly in residency ? Stay at home partner like a majority of my male coresidents have, is not an option obvs

Amazing
Just received the most amazing consult of all time: “bright red blood per rectum” on…. A patient that doesn’t have a rectum. Or an anus. Reasons to do a rectal exam before consulting surgery….

I missed #ASC2022 and forgot it was #NationalWomenPhysiciansDay. That's because I had a baby this week. Sometimes surgeons do that. Medical student me would have wanted to know that it is possible. I missed seeing everyone, but this feels pretty great too. #surgeonmom
