Thoughts on week 6 1. I think the Rams loss yesterday to Arizona drives home the point that the Rams coaching is a big problem. The Cardinals had gotten destroyed for 4 straight weeks against lesser opponents, yet they dominated McVay's loaded Ram team. I'm embarrassed picking a 12.5-point favorite that lost outright. 2. Aaron Rogers at 42 years old, was unbelievable in the 4th quarter and OT yesterday. Even though it was terrible for me personally, I tip my hat to the GOAT. 3. The London game was a complete joke. The Texans got some of the most ridiculous calls I've ever seen. Jaguars got completely screwed, and you are hearing that from a guy that significantly benefitted from the outcome. Cannot wait to see the Paris clown show this week. 4. The Chargers need to tear down they're team and start over. Herbert is physically and mentally defeated. There is noticeable disorganization. The Chiefs kept giving them chances, and LAC still was never in the game. Tough to watch. 5. The Bears are going to be tough down the stretch. Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson QB-Coach combo is among the best I've seen. 6. What a gutless team the Cowboys are. Owner, coach, and overall, on field performance are brutal to say the least. Last night's effort was embarrassing for myself and the team. 7. The Titans got in the win column with a lot of help from the Colts. Daniel Jones 24.5 QBR effort was a big part of it. 8. The Jets made me sweat out my New England survivor pick this week. The Pats were the better team, but it was a sweat. 9. Deshaun Watson's 25.4 bottom feeding QBR yesterday was enough, and the Browns pulled the upset over Baltimore. The Ravens must dread going to Cleveland every season. 10. I think the Giants will start JJ McCarthy this week in Houston. He definitely showed enough albeit in garbage time, to deserve a chance. Rough week for us but we are resilient and NFL Betting Edge will be back at it Wednesday night.

There have been 4 different fire able mistakes that Bowles has made this season alone. I just can't fathom a guy that's been in football for as long as he has could be this bad. Literally handed Pittsburgh 3 points before half.

Shocking
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo announced that the Rams are releasing kicker Harrison Mevis and signing Blake Grupe off the Jets' practice squad,

WTF did it take McVay blowing a game to realize this

Doesn't look like they needed the block, this one was not going through. Mevis will probably be released.

Maybe we didn't have the wrong side
That was a 99th percentile offensive performance by the Rams, based on EPA per drive. No other team has had an offensive game at that level and still lost in the last two seasons.

Thoughts on Bills-Rams -Sean McVay is a very overrated coach. I myself have overrated him over the years. He's still a good coach, but he is not in the elite class with Shanahan, Andy Reid, O'Connell-Flores, Macdonald, Ben Johnson etc. -Rams are always a bottom 5 special teams group every season McVay has coached. -How do you have a kicker whose long FG is 52 yards and have to hold your breath for him to make a kick? Hence Mevis. -McVay did the same thing Dan Quinn did yesterday. With a struggling kicker, he banked on a 47-yard FG instead of attacking the goal line. Buffalo had not stopped the Ram offense all night. - Josh Allen balled out last night. Even with the flag fest, it is fun watching Allen and Stafford battle one another. -Even though we should have scratched out a push with Rams -3, it was definitely the wrong side. Taking points in that game was at a premium last night. We drop to 12-7 on the season but.......... NFL Betting Edge drops tomorrow night for week 6

Thoughts on week5 1. Kyler Murray looked like the player he was in Arizona at the height of his career. Before I get too excited, it was against the bottom feeding and injured Saints D and it is just one game. That said, it drops the doubt that he is incapable. 2. The Steelers are fool's gold at 3-2. A good QB might have scored 50 on that 2ndary yesterday. They are getting safety DeSean Elliot back soon. 3. The Ravens proved last night that they are still the best team in the AFC North, beating a VG Falcon team without Lamar. 4. Another head scratching London game. Anyone with Jax in survivor is in shock they are still alive, but Jaguars were the right side. Philly got every call, and Jax kept self-inflicting mistakes. Still as a Jax entry holder, I'm grateful. 5. First coach fired should be Dan Quinn. Daniels was passing Wash right down the field, when Quinn decided to let the clock run and settle for a FG. The weather conditions were severe and numerous FGs and Pat's had been missed throughout the game. The Commanders were probably an 85% favorite to get a TD or chip shot FG if Quinn continues to attack the goal line. Although the clock running out in OT, was probably not Quinn's fault, sitting on the ball was the bigger mistake and that was all on Quinn. 6. The importance of having a good backup QB was on display yesterday. Jamies Winston and Snoop Huntley were more than adequate in running the offenses. Then there is the Falcons, who brilliantly signed Tua in the off season. 7. It was pitiful watching the Chargers quit down the stretch yesterday. LAC was in complete control up 7 with 8 Minn to go in the game. Harbaugh runs a QB sneak with a beat-up Justin Herbert on 4th and 1 from his own 42 with 8 Minn left and gives Denver a short field. The Broncos had not been moving the ball at all and the Chargers should have punted and pinned Denver deep in its own end. Chargers need a complete overhaul. 8. The Niners just keep winning. Another impressive performance and HC Shannahan has to be the favorite for coach of the year RN. 9. Titans, Chargers and Dolphins are all 0-5. Somehow, it feels like Miami has the best chance of turning things around next year. 10. Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson and Parker Washington just seem like they dominate games every week. I think the circus catches and big plays they continuously make, give they're offenses a huge edge. and speaking of edges, 3-0 on the NFL Betting Edge this week with the Rams -3 pending tonight. 12-6 on the season. Week 6 drops Wednesday night.

Thoughts on the weekend that was week #4 1. Bijon is the best back in the league and its not close. In fact, in almost 60 years of watching the NFL, I think he's the best I've ever seen. Just so you don't think this recency bias, I rank Gale Sayers 2nd. 2. The Falcons are legit. The 2ndary needs a couple of pieces, but aside from that they are for real. 3. If the Vikings got an adequate/average QB, they would be legit also. Kyler Murray had a 41.8 QBR against the worst defense in the league. I'm really starting to doubt HC O'Connell- How does he not see this? 4. The NFC East is completely upside down. Philly is on a serious downward spiral, the Giants are the phoniest team in the league, Dallas has great offense but no D, and Washington at 1-3 is a good team when Jaden Daniels plays. 5. Watch out for the Bears. All of a sudden, the defense is playing well, and the offense is explosive no matter who plays QB. 6. The Bengals are never going to change with Zach Taylor as HC. The fluky Super Bowl appearance was the worst possible thing that could have happened to them. Just gave Jax the game on Sunday. 7. I hate to complain, but these international games are just getting worse. Roger "expletive" Godell wants to put franchises internationally. Maybe the greedy MF should fix the officiating problems first. 8. How impressive are the 49ers. Injured to the bone and still winning convincingly. Shanahan might be the best coach in the league. 9. Bryce Young has taken a lot of flak since he has been in the league. I never wavered that he had a chance to be good, and he has proven that he is better than good. 10. The Rams are showing the world why they were such heavy favorites to win the Super Bowl. Elite coaching, QB and WR to go along with a very good o-line and solid defense, the Rams are going to be tough to beat. Oh, and Myles Garrett hasn't even played yet馃槻 NFL Betting Edge breaks down week 5 dropping Wednesday night. Don't miss it, we are heating up!! I will have professional poker player Casey D joining from Texas. He was one of 5 Circa entries to win 3.7 million each last year. I will be BOMBING him with survivor questions
