What does the Bible say about the Devil and demons? That’s a topic that isn’t preached about often, but I recently watched a powerful message from my father @BillyGraham on this subject. It’s just as relevant today—maybe even more so! Watch this @BGEA program, “The Kingdom of Darkness,” starting today. See upcoming airtimes or watch the special online at billygraham.org/tv-specials

My father @BillyGraham preached in Manchester 65 years ago, but this was my first trip to this beautiful city. Even with all of its history, Manchester is vibrant—there are so many young people and over 90 languages spoken here. Tonight, 10,000+ people came out to @TheCoopLive to hear the Gospel. I told the crowd that we each have a date with death—we’re all going to have to stand before God. We praise Him that hundreds responded to the invitation to repent and receive Jesus Christ by faith. Thanks to all of the churches, pastors, and volunteers who made this night possible.

65 years ago, my father @BillyGraham preached here in Manchester, England, at the Maine Road Stadium. That was back in 1961, and the Crusade he held was extended to 3 weeks in length! In one of those messages, he said: “God will not deal with us or give us peace while we are in our sins. Christ’s blood is the only detergent to wash your sins away.” A lot of things have changed in our world since then, but God has not changed, and the truth of the Gospel hasn’t changed. Would you pray that as I proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ here on Saturday many will trust Him by faith and surrender their lives to Him?

Just days after 9/11, @BillyGraham spoke about the lasting hope and comfort of Jesus Christ in the midst of grief and uncertainty as he addressed the nation from Washington, D.C. His message is just as powerful and true 25 years later.

25 years ago at 8:46 a.m., the first plane hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center. The second plane struck the South Tower 17 minutes later at 9:03 a.m. Nearly 3,000 people were killed that day in New York City, at the Pentagon, and on the four planes that were hijacked—fathers, mothers, children, grandparents, first responders, members of law enforcement and the military. Our nation and this world have never been the same. I was at Ground Zero in the aftermath, and it’s impossible to describe the tremendous amount of pain that I witnessed. President George W. Bush declared a National Day of Prayer and Remembrance and asked my father @BillyGraham to address the country from the National Cathedral. During that service, my father said, "We’ve always needed God from the very beginning of this nation. But today we need Him especially. We’re involved in a new kind of warfare. And we need the help of the Spirit of God." Just as America needed the help of God then, we still need His help today. My prayer for our nation is that we will continue to turn to the God of Heaven who has brought us to this day and sustained us every step of the way. #NeverForget

Today, we celebrate and thank God for 250 years as a nation. I want to thank the 50 pastors and everyone who joined us in praying for America over the last 50 days. But today isn’t the end of our need for prayer! We need to keep asking God to guide and direct our leaders and to continue to allow our country to be a beacon of freedom and hope for the world. #OneNationUnderGod #50Days50States50Prayers @BGEA
