Former Kentucky cheerleader has pleaded guilty to killing her newborn baby and stuffing him in a trash bag in her closet, claims she was under "emotional stress."
22-year-old Laken Snelling has admitted to killing her newborn baby by "depriving him of oxygen."
"I was under a lot of emotional stress and my baby came unexpectedly... And instead of helping him I ended his life and afterwards I cleaned up and didn’t tell anyone," she said in court.
She has pleaded guilty to manslaughter, abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence and concealing the birth of an infant.

I thought the judge would have denied her bond due to her being a Jamaican immigrant. She could flee. 🏃♀️💨 Wouldn't be the first time.
Her crime is very egregious, and the circumstances surrounding it are disturbing. That beautiful baby boy deserved to live.

Coleman was arrested July 29 and has been charged with second-degree murder and second-degree cruelty to children. She had been held without bond at the Gwinnett County Jail since her arrest.
During Wednesday’s bond hearing, the State cited “phone sex” in jail calls as an indication that Coleman was “distracted” and not focused on her defense.
The judge questioned how the allegation was relevant to the bond hearing and sustained the defense’s objection.
The judge ultimately granted Coleman $5,000 bond with conditions that include house arrest, electronic monitoring and restrictions on driving her children.
