There is a war on beauty, because beauty connects us to God, to our history, and to each other.

In July 1959, the Conservative MP and erstwhile professor of Classics Enoch Powell made a blisteringly excoriating speech in the House of Commons to criticise the Conservative government after the Hola Massacre in Kenya. African lives, he said, were worth as much as European lives. Dennis Healey, a Labour MP who would later become one of the major figures in the postwar British politics, said that Powell's speech had "all the moral passion and rhetorical force of Demosthenes." Think of that while watching the video below. This comparison, I think, sums up the intellectual and moral degeneration of the European political elite, which appears to have accelerated since the turn of the Century. Until we have a political elite with the intellectual horsepower, civilised mores and seriousmindedness to be far more conversant with Demosthenes, Thucydides and Atistotle than acting out in cringy social media videos, we are doomed to further decline.

We must see the return of the eccentric big family. No more of this docile stepford children stuff. There should be all sorts of pets, clashing personalities, sibling rivalries, inside jokes, nicknames, and secret languages.

They attack workers, they don't demand rights, they want total chaos because they hate Europe that unfortunately welcomes them. A huge and unforgivable mistake. Everyone out!

I want a futurism that feels like this. Like we've mastered nature and mastered the human-scale longed for ideals. Not like flying plastic or plants on top of glass-plastic

The demonization of the jock and popularization of "nerd winning cheerleader smokeshow with his personality" was actually a massive media attempt to shame and cuck Anglo Saxon athleticism and small town heroism.

The Right betrayed its inheritance when it abandoned tradition, hierarchy, duty and community for individualism, bourgeois materialism, the cult of money and the tyranny of the market. Until we recover these values, we are lost.
