🙏 HELP POST🙏
A BIG FAVOUR TO ASK AGAIN!
Hi everyone,
As many of you will know, I have been dealing with, for 7+ years, numerous complaints made against me to the HCPC by various individuals who are determined to cause me as much trouble, stress and difficulty as possible.
All these petty, vexatious and vindictive complaints come from physios and healthcare professionals who either don't like me, disagree with me, have personal grievances against me, or just resent what I do and how I do it.
Now some of these complaints are FINALLY due to be heard at an HCPC Fitness to Practise hearing starting on 30th November 2026, after TWO previous abandoned hearings in 2023 and 2024 due to the HCPC's staggering levels of incompetence and mismanagement.
And this is where I need to ask for your help and support once again.
Many of you have already been incredibly supportive and have previously provided me with some very kind, generous and embarrassingly flattering character and professional testimonials.
In fact, some of you have done this TWICE already for the other failed hearings.
However, despite the delays being largely of the HCPCs own making, they are now requiring me to obtain fresh testimonials all over again.
Apparently, the HCPC consider the previous testimonials as "out of date" and so cannot be relied upon at this new upcoming hearing.
So, it’s with a slightly embarrassed and very frustrated expression on my face, I'm asking, once again, for your kind help.
If you have previously written a testimonial for me and still have a copy, you can simply update the date, sign it again and email it back to me at [email protected]
Alternatively, if you would like to write me a new testimonial, it would need to be:
• On headed paper, or on a letter containing your work address if you don't have headed paper.
• Dated and preferably hand-signed, because apparently making this process as unnecessarily awkward as possible is important to the HCPC.
• Addressed to "To whom it may concern"
The letter only needs to cover three things:
1. That you are aware I have an HCPC Fitness to Practise final hearing starting on 30th November 2026, concerning allegations made against me.
2. How you know me, personally and/or professionally.
3. Your honest views on my character, professionalism and practice as a physiotherapist.
It doesn't need to be long, complicated or overly formal. Just an honest account of your experiences and opinions of me.
You can then email this to me at [email protected]
And if possible, could I please have these by 1st November 2026 at the latest, so there's enough time to get everything submitted to the HCPC
I know I'm asking a lot, particularly from those of you who have already gone out of your way to help me once or even twice before.
Believe me, I am absolutely sick and tired of this whole saga, and I'm sure many of you are sick and tired of hearing about it too.
But after seven years of dealing with these complaints, the delays, the stress, the expense and the seemingly endless bureaucratic bullshit…
I am determined to see this through and defend both myself and the professional reputation I've spent over 25 years building.
So if you can spare a little of your time to help me again, I would be forever grateful.
And to those of you who have already supported me throughout this ridiculous ordeal... THANK YOU.
I genuinely cannot express how much it means to me.
Hopefully, this will be the last time I have to ask for your support with this absolute circus of a process
Much love and thanks to you all.

World Mental Health day today.
Still too many people struggling, still too many people who won't tell a friend, family member or reach out to one of the great charities who are all on this app.
Too many people taking their own life when reaching out and talking in many cases leads to better days. Trust me, I've been there, literally at the end of a rope, stopped, went to see my late Mum, cried a river and started a conversation.
Men between 40 and 65 are the group that notoriously don't talk. Too much bravado, too much pride, still too many saying "pull your socks up and get in with it". Often you just can't. So right now, if you're struggling, drop your pal a message. "I'm struggling pal, got 5 mins for a chat?". You'll be surprised what happens and may point to that message as a starting point.
There's millions of us who struggle regularly, with anxiety, depression, real stuff that destroys from the inside. Not feeling down for a day, anxiety that cripples, energy levels that crash and a suffocating malaise you feel you'll never get out of.
You will, and you can, and you must. For yourself, your pals, your Brother, Sister, Mum and Dad, but overwhelmingly for yourself.
1 in 3 struggle with mental health issues at some time in my life. I've had people who mocked mine only to say "I'm struggling" years down the line. Poor mental health can visit anyone, just like poor physical health can.
Drop a pal or a sibling or even a stranger like me a message, that one deed alone means you're half way there and you can start to talk. Anxiety and depression love being locked on your head with nowhere to go, and anyone who knows will nod on agreement.
Stand up, reach out and see where it takes you. You owe yourself that.

So my questioning the Oreo spinal pathology trend has upset a LOT of people!
Apparently, I need to relax, chill out, cheer up because they’re “just harmless analogies.”
But here’s the point they’ve all missed…
Just because an analogy is simple, popular and easy to understand, it doesn’t mean it’s accurate, helpful or harmless!
Good education should build confidence in our bodies, not reinforce fear and fragility.
And if questioning potentially misleading healthcare messages makes me a miserable, grumpy bastard, so fucking be it!
Oh, and one last thing…
OREOS ARE BISCUITS, NOT FUCKING COOKIES! 🇬🇧🍪 #RuleBritannia

Just when I thought we’d moved on from the shitty jam doughnut analogies, along come the fucking Oreos! 🍪🤦♂️
Your spine is NOT a fragile stack of biscuits waiting to crumble, crack or squirt cream everywhere!
It’s an incredibly strong, robust and adaptable structure designed to tolerate load, bending and twisting.
So PLEASE stop using shitty analogies that make people fear their own bodies?
Good education should build confidence, not create fear!
Eat the fucking biscuits. Stop using them to explain spinal pathology! 🤦♂️

Poor - and biased - response from Andy Burnham on Manchester City being found guilty of all charges related to serious breaches of the Premier League’s financial rules by an Independent Commission.
He says “I can’t intervene *more* in the process,” which requires an explanation in itself.
Then offers commentary on previous proceedings he felt was unfair, AND states he wouldn’t want to lose the club’s owners who have “been such a huge partner in the building of modern Manchester. Obviously, the building of Manchester City into the global force that it is.”
How was that force built?
And on the investment into the city itself, per a 2022 Guardian report: “Nine sites were sold to Sheikh Mansour at a fraction of their value, and well below what other plots nearby fetched. They were on leases lasting 999 years, well beyond the norm. And the fund shifted what had been public assets to companies registered in Jersey.
“That walk along the water from New Islington into Ancoats now passes blocks of privatised land owned in an offshore tax haven, which yields millions upon millions for a key member of the wealthy elite running a surveillance state halfway across the globe. One of the greatest cities in the world has sold itself to a senior figure in a brutal autocracy – and not even for a good price.”

“I would be really concerned to lose them.” Prime Minister Andy Burnham on the possibility of Manchester City’s owners selling up. What?! These are owners found guilty of serial breaches of the Premier League rule-book by three judges on an independent commission after a lengthy investigation. Owners who outraged other clubs and countless fans by flouting the rules and inflating sponsorship income with the Disguised Funding Scheme.
Owners who misled auditors and regulators, who threaten to bring this Premier League season – and, potentially, future seasons - to a standstill by their appeal, deny, delay tactics. Owners who are patently not proper custodians of a famous, historic club. Owners who many hope will sell up and ship out after bringing such shame and sham contracts to the game.
So these are astonishing, alarming comments from the PM. “I do actually thank the City Football Group and the wider ownership for the money that they didn't just put into the Etihad and the campus around it but also into the city," Burnham told the BBC’s Chris Mason.
Come on, PM. Read the room. Read the commission’s report. Read the belligerent statements from the Abu Dhabi owners and their chief executive like Ferran Soriano. Rather than thank CFG, perhaps thank the diligence of the Premier League in seeking to enforce its rules and protect the national sport. Perhaps thank the three judges for their pain-staking work in sifting through reams of evidence and coming to their considered conclusion.
Burnham spoke as a politician seemingly with one eye on diplomatic and trade links. He spoke as a former mayor whose city benefited from investment in east Manchester by Abu Dhabi. “They've been such a huge partner in the building of modern Manchester and obviously the building of Manchester City into the global force that it is.” And how was that building financed?
Burnham spoke as a politician and not the football fan that he truly is. The lifelong Evertonian is usually pretty sound on football matters. He misread the mood of many fans not wanting the possible return of drinking in Premier League stands but that was a rare misstep. This is far worse. This makes him look out of touch with the prevailing mood. He was speaking at Hill Dickinson Stadium. Maybe he should head to Anfield on Sunday week and witness the anger felt towards City.
Burnham did add that he wasn’t getting involved in the process and that City had a right to appeal if they felt harshly treated. But how does the PM’s sympathetic words for controversial owners help the independent football regulator charged by Government with leading the fight against those who risk the credibility of their club, who play fast and loose with the rules and who damage the integrity of the national sport?
How frustrating if Burnham’s words embolden City's owners and Soriano further. Bit of an own goal by No 10.
