Wonderful guest entertainer during brunch at Billeh's Rooftop Nut Cafe. Famed orator Ernest Nuttingmeyer took the spotlight to recite excerpts from works by Stephen King. Unfortunately he briefly cleared the porch roof when a passage from "Cujo" got too intense for the clientele.

A couple years ago I convinced the city to save the trunk section of this "dead" tree across the street because it still has an active squirrel den. (5 shared it last winter.) This summer it grew a lovely headdress, and it's become something of a landmark. – at South Portland, ME
