Here's the thing about the Comstock Act of 1873:
Democrats need to repeal it. Because it's still good law and you can't blame the Supreme Court for upholding a law that Congress refuses to repeal.
This is on YOU, @TheDemocrats.

We had no idea the journey we would go on when we noticed the sticks we would throw to Beaker start to go missing from the forest floor.
All of sudden the hundreds of sticks were gone.
POOF. Where did they go?
It was baffling puzzle that had a simple answer.
Beavers.
It wasn’t long before we found a baby dam being constructed.
The weeks went by and it became apparent that an industrious creature had moved into the creek.
The baby dam grew, and trees fell, gnawed down by the Beaver’s iron infused teeth.
Within a month the banks of the creek were mudded up with some kind of Beaver cement.
What is Beaver cement you ask?
Well I asked that question but it was more like WTF is this.
It was creek-bed mud mixed with gravel. It limited erosion and made the walls of the creek higher, to thus hold more water.
Piles of rocks chosen as BAD ROCKS we chucked out, which we found to our amusement. Small piles of reject rocks can be found on the banks. It’s hilarious.
Weeks went by and tree after tree fell to their teeth and three dams were built in short order.
My drone footage showed sections of the forest just GONE. Vaporized by our chompy friends.
It was WILD.
The creek retained water into the fall, when normally it would have died out completely.
I still can’t believe it there is water down there. It has NEVER had water past August.
Folks said, get a trail cam, get those Beavers on camera, so we did!
After weeks of failure we got amazing pictures and footage of our nocturnal lumberjacks.
We learned how the Beaver moved giant logs. They literally BITE the log and walk it like a dog with a bone. They are hella strong.
The creek dam/lake brought thirsty Moose to our property which is cool but now we have to worry about getting murdered by Moose on walks.
Soon winter will arrive and our squat neighbour will hide out in its den and snack on leafy branches while the world freezes over.
In the spring that creek wakes up from snow runoff.
It ROARS.
If the Beaver dams hold, that water will back up and I’m confident a massive pond or lake will form.
It will forever transform the forest.
Every day when we walk the dogs, it’s a joyous adventure. We can’t wait to see what the Beaver has done, and we wonder about the future.
If you told me I would be waking up excited to share Beaver footage with the world, I would have laughed at the innuendo.
Our planet is so unbelievably cool. The secret lives of animals that share it with us is magical.
When the news is the worst, we can help lighten the load with our Beaver Saga.
