I built a BOD Grok bot. Solely focused communications & report prep with analysis of metrics and finances, as well as creating deck & pre-read packet for incoming BOD members. Absolutely crazy how powerful, efficient and life-giving this bot is.

Amazing talent and demonstration of the power of both creating and music itself.
Being an exceptionally talented musician is one thing. But to stand before such high-caliber fellow musicians, a large audience, and cameras—all while remaining composed, communicating skillfully and effectively, showing genuine enjoyment, and staying focused on the creative process—that is what truly amazes me.

Often seems that the equipping of the saints is not on many pastors’ radar.
You were never meant to shepherd alone. You can lead 100 sheep well. But Ephesians 4 isn't about one shepherd carrying it all. It's about raising up others, ordained or not. Ministry was always meant to be a body, not a solo act.

It probably just needs a little resurrecting.
Most stalled church visions aren't dead. They just went quiet. If there's a conversation about what's next for your church that's been sitting untouched, it might just need a nudge, not a whole restart.

Every pastor - and I mean every pastor - tells me about a lack of volunteers.
You've probably already thought of them. The early arriver. The quietly capable one, just waiting for someone to say "we could use you." Your congregation isn't short on gifted people. It's usually just missing the ask. Book a call at fivetwo.com.

The miraculous working itself out in the mundane vocations of life.
God regularly works through ordinary people, doing what they normally do, who with a mixture of half-faith and devotion are holding themselves ready for whatever God has in mind. -Luke for Everyone

Amen. I meet too many pastors who struggle with sharing the load. Carrying ministry solo isn’t the Jesus-way.
Being faithful shouldn't lead to an early exit. Pastors read "faithful" as carry it until you can't anymore. But Jesus isn't asking you to finish the race tired. He's asking you to finish it. Full stop. Faithful and sustainable aren't opposites. They're supposed to go together.

Pastors, what do you think about @mcuban’s thoughts here? Personally, sounds like a great wholistic way to help your parishioners live more healthy lives. Possible to enlist some drs or PAs in your churches? Your people likely already use AI more than you think.
If I was a doctor with a private practice, I would offer to sit with the patient and configure their Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok with instructions and skills, along with a series of prompts/tasks that the patient can use and that can be shared with the doctor and inform the patient. LLM , every day at 5pm I want you to ask Joe the following questions , and show him your response. Upon completion , I want you to email me everything in this chat Every morning I want you to look for new questions I emailed joe that will come from my email with the subject Questions Rinse and repeat. You get the point. Help the patient use AI to help you help the patient. Thoughts ?

From 2013 IRS date, before 2017 tax code allowing higher standard deductions. Fewer tax payers itemize nowadays. Wonder what it’s like today in your county? In your congregation???

If I had a penny for every church with a fancy strategic plan on the pastor’s shelf…
A binder tells you what to do. We actually do it with you. Most churches have a shelf full of strategic plans that never made it past the first few pages. Not because the ideas were bad. Because nobody stuck around to help turn them into anything real.

It doesn’t take much conflict to burn a guy out. And running fast while being shot at doesn’t make for a great trip.
Most pastors won't say burnout is the cost of being faithful. But their calendars will. You were never meant to do ministry alone. You were meant to equip your people to do it with you. Being faithful shouldn't wear you out. It should be what you're still doing in ten years.

"It's lonely being a pastor." We hear some version of that almost every time we sit with a pastor. At FiveTwo, we come around you. We pray with you. We sit with you in the hard weeks too. You were never meant to do ministry alone. Who's been an Aaron to you?

Really enjoying this analysis group. Very insightful.
Trump says Putin wants peace and Zelenskyy is the obstacle. Russia's Foreign Ministry names Britain as the saboteur. Two great powers pointing at the same enemy is not a coincidence — it's the sound of the imperial chessboard being flipped over.
