Anything can happen in District 4-5A (Division II). Pete Rozelle is beaming from heaven. A pick-six and a scoop-and-score was the difference in one game tonight. #txhsfb

4-5A D-II is mostly chalk but anyone can push another on a given night. Anna got a scare at home vs. Raccoon High while the Emerson Bigguns gave Celina all they wanted. This is an underrated district week on week. Even Denison pushed Emerson on the road. @Matt_Stepp817

Strong sauce from Argyle tonight. They hung 70 on Highland Park, which nobody else this century has done. Closest was by Denton Guyer (63) in 2022. Tyler scored 66 in a game HP won 70-66 last year. #txhsfb

OMG Bonham. And OMG Sherman. #txhsfb

Don't want to necessarily talk out of school, but Hachie Nation ... enjoy this ride the next 3 years. #HachieUnited is built different and it's going to be fun. Maybe after that it'll be 2 fun rides, as Waxahachie Creek and WHS move ahead in 5A. #NewHach #txhsfb

Celina will open its new Class 5A #txhsfb era not only with a new coaching staff, but also with a home opener against something called Legacy School of Sports Science.

Mammatus in Collin County… and the big cell is still about 90 miles away. #txwx

No, Gunter is not playing Celina again in 2026. Let's put that to rest. But the Tigers' schedule is still very interesting. #txhsfb
