New Orleans has a lot more bikeways now than when I last visited in 2014 (writeup: newcity.com/2014/11/11/check…), including lots of paint-and-post lanes, plus some concrete protection. There's a fun bike culture there, including this predominantly Black cruiser ride I saw last Friday.
We're thankful to see the St. Claude bike lanes and crosswalks being repainted today! New striping extends from Elysian Fields to Delery Street. Let's keep it up @cityofnola
