“The parent-led group in north Belfast was inspired by other bike buses - including the famous bicibus in Barcelona, Coach Balto's bus in Oregon as well as others in Scotland, England and the Republic of Ireland.”

Me & a friend (mainly him) are setting up a website that will locate all the bike busses in the UK with extra information including how to set up your own bike bus etc.
He's got corporate sponsorship so there's no cost.

Excited to bring my first motion to Full Council on bike buses! 🚲
I want Edinburgh’s streets to be safe enough for every child to cycle to school on their own. While we work on that, let’s support bike bus initiatives that make the journey to school safe, sustainable & fun. ✨

I could tell you about the emissions saved by the "bike bus"
... but the thing that sticks – after so much stress and sorrow and loneliness the last few years – is watching all these kids float to school on a vast ocean of joy
