This is the biggest 2023 CBA change that’s impacted available cap space during free agency. It’s incentivized more guys to extend before free agency, leaving a smaller % of cap space for free agency across the league.

A lot of players that comment about the 2nd apron and the 2023 CBA are actually upset about the extension rules that have left a smaller % of the cap available during free agency. The total salaries are guaranteed set by the CBA BRI split, but the best stars, starters, and rookie deal players are eating up that $ years before via extensions. Rookie extension rules haven’t changed, but the vet extension rules changed to incentivize more veterans to extend years before their contract ends. That’s put pressure on available cap space. Role guys are really the main guys that reach free agency these days, so they’re the ones that are noticing that free agency isn’t what it once was.

How do we pick and choose which artists we banish to cancellation hell? And why? Really enjoyed DB's essay

Speaking of taking the gains. Kushner likely has some exits coming up and he’ll get to write off all his cap gains for these investments against depreciation of players contracts etc and essentially pay zero tax ala Ballmer when he bought the clips. All because for whatever reason US sports franchises are granted some absurd tax loopholes.
This is account is just a DB Stan Account at this point.

Man, I know some people are over LeBron, but this is really the dopest superstar athlete story in my lifetime. Hyped to hell and still surpassed every single expectation folks had for him.
In 2001, LeBron James attended the ABCD Basketball Camp and became a national media sensation.

After a 20-year hiatus, Tracy McGrady is partnering with adidas to revive the camp which will invite roughly 60 elite high school boys and girls basketball players to train with high level coaches + players.

Nico Williams's mother, Maria, walked nearly 2,000 miles while pregnant from Ghana towards Spain for a better life.
He grew up to assist the goal that won Spain the World Cup. Then, he gave his winner's medal to his mom.
I can’t wait for the Athletic piece where Boston’s brass anonymously dumps all over JB to justify this deal. Just leaking “White was ACTUALLY**** better than JB according to adjusted plus minus!!!” Lmao my word
My brother Paul gave it up to the team and the city on our latest episode. He’s happy for everyone. 😂😂😂😂 let him live!

I have fought the neocons and warmongers in Washington for more than 25 years. Throughout, they have tried to silence, discredit, slander, and cancel me. Only recently, however, have they tried to deport me.
At least, that appears to have been the aim of a hit piece in Bari Weiss’s The Free Press, which claimed that Marco Rubio’s State Department was “investigating” me for allegedly seeking to “undermine the U.S.”—presumably because of my opposition to war with Iran.
Yet just hours later, the State Department issued a statement to reporters clarifying that “the State Department has no plans to revoke the green card of Mr. Parsi at this time.” Nor did it provide any confirmation for the central premise of the Free Press story—that an investigation of me existed in the first place.
So here’s what I think happened.
