guys, be careful with OS listings
some bad actors are abusing the OS UI to make their listings show up first at 10-20x the floor price
some people have already been caught out and lost a lot of money
idk how they do it, but refreshing the page helps. the issue seems to appear after about a minute on the collection page
hope OpenSea can fix this soon
please @opensea @zjbrenner π
Apes have their own TCG now π€―
Yesterday @BoredApeYC announced Mudwater at ApeFest. Let's take a look:
- 2.4M cards in total, with every digital pack backed by a physical one and vice versa
- Each BAYC gets 10 packs, each MAYC gets 2
Packs are currently around 0.3 SOL (~$35), with the cheapest cards starting at ~$1
At these prices, that's ~$350 per BAYC and ~$70 per MAYC from the airdrop
- 2.5% in royalties will go toward buying $APE and distributing it to Box holders
Each Box contains 24 packs, and holders will soon be able to wrap their packs into one to receive APE
There are more mechanics to explore, but community is still getting familiar with the product. I think we'll get a better picture once people spend more time with it
Personally, I think lower supply of cards would've added more value without hurting the game
And Solana isn't the best chain for new launches rn either, but I understand the tech reasons behind that
Still, the art slaps and it's cool to see apes getting their own TCG
Can't wait to see what's next for Mudwater π«‘
Yield Fields is cooking! π₯
The collection minted out in 30 seconds during the DA a few days ago, and today the floor is up ~20% to 1.2 ETH
FP dipped to 0.9 ETH when secondary trading opened, but whales have been sweeping since. Seems like they are building positions ahead of the reveal and game launch
Both are coming soon, so there are still a lot of catalysts ahead. I think we could see @YieldFields_RH higher as people get ready for game goes live
Can't wait to start farming π«‘

What went wrong with @papertrade_xyz ?
Papertrade launched on October 10 with a lot of excitement from CT. 1000x leverage, no funding, no slippage, and $PAPER rewards for losing trades. Sounds too good
But right after the launch, some critical problems became clear
1. Trades aren't executed on Hyperliquid
Papertrade only takes prices from HL. All positions are opened against its own pool, which started at $0 and grows through traders' losses
Smaller payouts are easier to cover, but whales could wait days or longer to receive their full profit
The ability to open a huge position doesn't mean the pool can afford to pay it out
2. The pricing model is open to abuse
One wallet opened ~$200M in longs on Papertrade, then bought ETH on HL to push the reference price up. A move of roughly $3 was enough to close those longs for around $168K in profit π€―
Then he did reverse: shorted on Papertrade, sold ETH on HL. In total guy have 296 winning trades out of 305 and roughly $1.28M profit
3. The incentives favor farming $PAPER
Losing trades gets you PAPER, so farmers can open opposing positions and collect tokens from the losing side while recovering the loss on the winning side
They still lose money through fees, but can acquire $PAPER much cheaper than usual trader
That makes trading activity harder to valuate
Does high volume means people want to use the exchange, or they're just farming rewards?
4. No volume fees doesn't mean cheap trading
Papertrade takes a cut from winning trades, plus a 2% fee on profits, and smaller price changes gets a larger percentage cut
That's especially relevant at high leverage, where a tiny move can decide the whole trade
Losses count in full while wins get reduced, so traders need a higher win rate just to break even
Just in a few days a lot tokens built around Papertrade already have dropped hard
People came in expecting a great farming opportunity, and now reconsidering the mechanics behind it
I still think Papertrade is an interesting experiment, but fixing issues is only part of the work. The product also needs to make sense for regular traders if it wants activity beyond $PAPER farming
Let's see what the team changes and whether they can earn trust back π«‘
Pretty cool thing by @themutualfun
If you hold an MF pass (have WL), you can review other people's applications and vote for who gets in
Really like this mechanic, the community curates itself π₯
This is the way @Kingpickle π«‘
Ready to farm @YieldFields_RH π«‘
I think the mint is coming this week, can't wait to try the game
Good luck to @Skarly , confident he'll pull off a great launch π₯
robinhood:0xbc2283d12b1f2f46c1613ae672e95c55b69ca414 is flying!
A lot of presale participants took profits when trading opened yesterday and token dipped. I've added more around $300K mcap because I'm excited for papertrade going live tomorrow
The token has already crossed $1M mcap several times. Curious to see what happens once farming goes live @paperdao_xyz π
I've taken some profits but still hold most of my position, like many others in Funkari π«‘
Another cook for the @FunkariNft
Today @paperdao_xyz went live at around $600K mcap
We secured Tier-2 allocation for all members, with up to 0.1 ETH per member. At opening prices, that allocation was already worth 0.3 ETH π₯
Happy for that great cook for the fam. I'm still holding and looking forward to the paper trade launch π«‘

Go check them out and secure your WL while you still can π«‘
OpenSea team is paying attention to community feedback
They've already addressed the listing issue just a few hours after my post. Check whether it's working properly for you now
Share other issues you know about in the comments, and OS team will flag them π

NFTs have cooled off lately, and the market has moved to other onchain activities
But a lot of builders are cooking behind the scenes. I've been on a lot of calls with new projects recently, and many look very promising
Some bigger launches have the whole space watching. Could their success bring another NFT push? π
- @YieldFields_RH by @Skarly - OCH was a catalyst for the NFT run on Abstract, and now Skarly is bringing farming to RH. Really looking forward to this one
- @themutualfun by @Kingpickle - onchain funds where NFT holders vote on how the money is invested. After Strategy success, this could be its beta
- @unvault by @AaronHaber - a new marketplace and launchpad with an eco already waiting to launch. Could bring a lot of activity back if the first projects do well
- @hoojafun by @prollynuthin - one of the first projects coming to Unvault, with NFTs and a token opening trading together. Very excited to see launch of strong NFT IP on RH
- @Slippyclub - an established community expanding into NFTs, with art by @LiViXi3 , the artist behind Pudgy. OG team, good art and a lot of coming
- @fomoater - a collection for overthinkers, building its community through Fomo with passes for free NFTs. Like the art and how they're approaching distribution
We've seen how a few successful projects can bring attention back to the whole space
There are plenty of good teams here, now let's see what they deliver π₯
Blast will be shutting down.
We launched Blast with the goal of building a self-sustaining chain for users and developers. Unfortunately, the economics of operating the chain no longer make sense: the ongoing costs of maintaining Blast exceed the revenue generated by the L2, and we do not see a credible path to making the chain economically sustainable.
As a result, we've made the difficult decision to wind Blast down.
We're sorry to the users and developers who believed in Blast, built on it, and supported the ecosystem. Our priority now is making the shutdown as smooth and safe as possible.
We're asking all users to withdraw their assets from Blast to Ethereum mainnet, including any balances held in the Blast PWA.
To make this easier, we will be reducing the withdrawal delay to 24 hours.
As part of the shutdown process, we'll first begin withdrawing Blast's Lido assets. This process is expected to take approximately one week. During this period, withdrawals will temporarily be unavailable, even after the withdrawal delay is reduced to 24 hours.
Once that process is complete, withdrawals will resume with the new 24-hour delay.
Users will have until October 26, 2026 to withdraw through the normal Blast interface.
After October 26, assets will remain withdrawable, but users will need to interact directly with the Blast bridge contracts on Ethereum L1. We'll publish detailed instructions before then.
We strongly encourage everyone to withdraw their assets to Ethereum mainnet before October 26.

7,777 NFTs minted out a few days ago at just ~$8 each, and now the floor is at 0.025 ETH
We had full WL allocation at Funkari, minted and still holding
Always happy to support art π«‘
