Happy Lord’s Day.
“So also consider yourselves dead to sin, and alive to God in our Lord Jesus Christ. Alleluia.
Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.”
— from the Pascha Nostrum

Leviticus.
Aaron raises hands bloodied from sacrifice to bless the people.
The crucifixion.
Bloodied, with outstretched arms Jesus prays forgiveness.
In both Old Testament and New, the aim of the LORD is the overcoming of and deliverance from sin and death.
Glad to see the President canceled the livestream of the scheduled execution. I believe he made the correct decision.
“But if he cannot afford an animal from the flock, then he may bring to the LORD two turtle doves or two young pigeons.”—Leviticus 5:7
When they present Jesus in the temple, Joseph and Mary “offer a sacrifice…..a pair of turtle doves or two young pigeons.”—Luke 2:24

[Moses] did not realize that the skin of his face shone as a result of his speaking with the LORD.—Exodus 34:29
May our time with God be so apparent that people can tell we follow Him simply by observing us.
Let our lives so shine with His love and glory.
Today is Sunday. Christians have called it the Lord’s Day for 2,000 years.
May we who call Jesus our Lord gather in worship: prayer, song, Scripture, and Table.
I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of the Lord.”—Ps 122:1
(Headed to hear The Eldest preach.)
How will it be known that I and your people have found favor with you unless you go with us?—Exodus 33:16
The favor of God is apparent when we choose to walk in the Way of the Cross, yet continue to know love, peace, joy and life.
The cross is not solely a delivery system for soul salvation, but it is rather the understanding by which the Church lives in the world.
True Christians walking the Cruciform Way of Jesus embrace weakness, service, generosity, and others, for this is where we meet God.
