The race isn't won only in the engine shop.
Xavier Lyu's case for @Pareton_ai (SN10): you can have the fastest model and still lose on how it's served. Pit crews aren't glamorous, he says, but they compound.

The most reassuring thing an AI agent can say about your Google Drive is seven words long.
I have not changed or sent anything.
Our Ditto agent turned a launch brief from Drive into a checklist with the next step, then stopped there. Here's how to set one up ↓

One in four shoppers say they will never delegate a purchase to AI (Checkout.com, 2026).
The ones who might are specific about what they want first: spending caps (30%) and instant revocation (29%).
That reads like a product spec. It's how we designed Gate.

Pretty cool!
Before a partner promises a business anything, Ditto checks it against 95 features.
Here's the check running on a made-up 12-person landscaping company:
– Fit first
– Which features are actually live
– Questions for the first call
– Clear next step
The check shipped this week, as part of our partner program.

Everyone in AI is building a faster engine. Xavier Lyu is building the pit crew.
@Pareton_ai (SN10) serves your own model faster and cheaper, on your hardware, and Bittensor miners compete to beat the best setup so far.

I was blown away
This is an early look at the upcoming Ditto plugin for Claude.
I asked Claude Chat what I’d worked on today. Ditto pulled together 20 memories from across my day:
- billing work
- sign-in fix
- subnet PR I reviewed
Each came from a different source, all through one plugin.
Then I used Ditto's Curate Music skill to build a jazz playlist for my coding session.
Ditto drew on Telegram and past Claude Code sessions, found an old memory about my music taste, and picked Dave Brubeck, Snarky Puppy, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, and Weather Report.
Ditto connects your tools once, bringing the context together and making it ready when you ask.

Ditto's first business client runs on WhatsApp.
So we built WhatsApp into Ditto for their custom build. Their build stays theirs, and WhatsApp is now live in the Ditto app for everyone.

Pretraining a model used to mean a datacenter and a nine-figure budget. Jon did it on rented RTX 5090s over the open internet for $11.27 per billion tokens.
The whole 8B run came to about $6,500. Retail hourly GPU prices, 574B tokens, 52 hours. The syncers were four CPU VMs with no GPU in them, and there was no object store anywhere in the system.
If a model costs about what a used car costs, a lot more people get to own one. That's the point of Parallax.
Most of us have tried to explain what we're doing here to family or friends who are busy with their own lives and not that interested.
On one of our community calls, @Beyondfinancee said he has stopped trying to convince them: "I'm not going to continue nagging." Instead, "you focus on yourself first, you focus on the people that want to be helped, and you bring them along with you."
He's honest about the limits too. "I know we can't save everyone, but we can do our best."
Who are you bringing along?

Replying to @heydittoai
@heydittoai is a front end operating system which utilises bittensor subnets to continuously improve its product.
What’s plugged in already?
@Hippius_cloud
@say_gm_
@desearch_ai
@chutes_ai
@engyai
What’s coming?
@SomaSubnet
@provenonce_ai
@green_compute_
@cathedralhq
@bitsecai
@cascade_sn91
@LeadpoetAI
@adtao_ppcrebel
@yanez__ai
And more…!
this isn’t including training models for business and enterprise clients yet… which is coming!
Now ditto can use gamma to pay for these products which gives other subnets revenue so when ditto scales all these subnets scale with it.
This is amazing because these subnets wouldn’t have this level of exposure without a front end product like this.
As for competitors you simply cant compete with a product that is supercharged by this many subnets that are endlessly evolving.
This is bittensor at its best and now it’s time to start showcasing it!
Let’s goo bittensor:native

We have 5,511 papers processed since mainnet.
That’s on average 119 papers per day.
However, this is just the start - we’re currently running small efficiency tests and are set to scale up data production by 10x in November.
Each paper strengthens our commercial viability, building our network of verified scientific data for AI.
When the Almanac (SN41) team took on X, they gave themselves one number to play for. Impressions, because impressions equals attention.
Agencies had offered to help, but they often didn't understand Bittensor, and a service tailored to one subnet cost more than the team could spend. So @lcnxyz and the @almnc_ai team ran it themselves and tested everything: influencers, their own campaigns and competitions, video, articles, replies.
The tests showed them what their audience wanted. Long-form articles worked, because people wanted to learn. Replies brought better engagement. They put their effort behind what worked and scrapped the rest.
If you picked one number for your subnet's X account, what would it be?

Longevity may show at the back of your eye.
In 27,999 @uk_biobank volunteers, people with a thinner layer of light-sensing cells in the retina were more likely to die over about 11 years than people with a thicker one.
The same thinning went with higher risk of stroke, heart attack, type 2 diabetes and chronic lung disease (COPD).
The strongest links were to lung cancer, kidney failure and a ballooning of the body's main artery (aortic aneurysm).
The layer was measured with OCT, a light-based 3D scan of the back of the eye.
Many opticians, at least in the UK, offer this scan for a small fee. But the measure used here came from specialised analysis software, and this study did not test it as a screening tool for individuals.
The authors, Wei Wang's group at Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Sun Yat-sen University, think the eye reacts to the body: photoreceptors are the body's most energy-hungry cells, so metabolic trouble may show there early.
The same team then checked a second, separate group: 2,975 people with type 2 diabetes in Guangzhou, China. There too, those with a thinner layer were more likely to die over 4 years than those with a thicker one.
The effect is modest: about 10% higher risk of death for each standard deviation of thinning. It's an association, in mostly white UK volunteers.
