Finland always stands on the side of peace, and we are working together to achieve it. Today in Oslo, we met with Norwegian Prime Minister @jonasgahrstore, Ukrainian President @ZelenskyyUa, and U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff. Peace requires patience, but war doesn’t wait. It is our duty to do what we can to bring Russia's war of aggression to an end. We stand with Ukraine. Today was a step towards a just and lasting peace. Photo: Pavlo Yurkin

Today we discussed security guarantees, and I'm thankful to the American side for underlining again that they have to be strong. There are different kinds of security guarantees on paper – in the document – which Steve will share with the Russians. We will hear his feedback afterwards. I had a phone conversation with Secretary of State Marco Rubio earlier on the train today. We spoke about sensitive issues such as Starlink, ballistic missile interceptors, and intelligence. We were very concrete and the conversation was positive. We shared the things we have to manage. And we will manage them, I'm sure of it. We decided that maybe in 48 hours we will get in touch again. We are thankful that early warning is now working. This is very important for our people, because we can know when Russian ballistic missiles are coming. So, this morning began with positive signals from the American side. We now also have a constructive dialogue. It was constructive because all of us want peace – Ukraine, Europe, the United States. And we will see what happens tomorrow. From answers to media questions in Oslo.

Russia is intensifying its attacks on Ukraine’s export routes. Its aggression in the Black Sea make it harder to put food on people’s plates across the world. A Black Sea freedom of navigation arrangement would protect lives and vital supplies. Ukraine has proposed it. Russia has rejected it. That is why diplomatic engagement must go hand in hand with sustained pressure on Moscow and support for Ukraine. My intervention in #EPlenary ↓

A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children. I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov flew to Iran and spoke of Russia and Ukraine’s “civilian infrastructure,” while accusing the US and Israel of aggression against Iran. Speaking in Tehran, he said Russia “does not intend to abandon its agreements with Iran, regardless of the external situation,” and is ready to help in the Iran–US conflict. He also said it was not Russia, but the EU and the US, that began undermining global energy stability.

Donald Trump says the Russian sanctions waiver is to help negotiate peace. But one Russian paper today writes: “We will make a deal with Ukraine entirely on our terms.” Another paper: “Russia’s borders, as we know, do not end anywhere.” #ReadingRussia

Another Russian ballistic missile attack came in several waves overnight, and once again, there was no early warning from our partners. They again targeted energy facilities and infrastructure, but a medical clinic, a school, a metro station, and ordinary residential buildings were also damaged. In total, the Russians launched 16 ballistic missiles in a deliberate attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The Russians also launched more than 200 drones of various types, including jet-powered “shaheds,” with attacks spanning from the Kharkiv and Dnipro regions to the Volyn, Rivne, and Odesa regions. Sadly, there are casualties. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Those who were injured are receiving assistance. Overnight and this morning, Russia attacked energy facilities in the Vinnytsia, Volyn, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Ternopil, Odesa, and Rivne regions. In this one night alone, more than 10 energy infrastructure facilities were damaged, and the lights went out for at least 550,000 families. Repair crews are working at the sites. Ukraine never wanted this war, and we have welcomed literally EVERY attempt by our partners to bring this war to a dignified end. We have responded positively to EVERY ceasefire proposal. Russia's response, time and again, has been ballistic missiles, “shaheds,” and killings. Putin not only doesn't want to end this war – he doesn't even want to take any steps toward de-escalation. EVERY ONE of our partners has experienced this firsthand when they heard Russia's refusals. And it is crucial to call things what they are. To call the aggressor an aggressor and help Ukraine defend lives. When deliveries of missiles for Ukraine's air defense are blocked while Russia is granted relief or delays in sanctions, this is, unfortunately, a denial of reality on the part of our partners. The reality is that the war continues, and it continues solely because of Russian strikes and Russia's desire to drag this war out. I thank everyone who recognizes this reality and helps Ukraine!

Russian Kosmos 2612 and ICEYE-X36 (providing Ukraine military support) are now in perfect sync with each other. The Russian military satellite is intentionally stalking and tracking the Western radar satellite. Keeping a satellite "bumper-to-bumper" in this manner allows Russia to intercept or jam data transmissions, physically inspect Western technology, or quickly pivot to execute a kinetic or non-kinetic anti-satellite (ASAT) attack with very little warning or fuel expenditure. Kosmos 2612 executed a series of highly precise, fuel-heavy maneuvers to force itself into a "coplanar" orbit—matching ICEYE-X36's exact altitude (~555 km), speed, and inclination (~97.8°). The ICEYE-X36 satellite is giving the Ukraine military support.

🇱🇹 Lithuania officially accuses Russia of attempting to set fire to Starlink infrastructure Lithuanian officials say the attack is part of a broader Russian effort to disrupt Starlink and undermine Ukrainian military operations. They also pointed to similar incidents in Bulgaria in September and Poland in October. The attempted arson took place around 2 a.m. in Aukštieji Paneriai, where part of Starlink's infrastructure is located. The fire was quickly contained, with no major damage reported. Starlink remains fully operational, and connectivity has not been disrupted.
🚨 🇱🇹 BREAKING: Arson attempt on Starlink equipment facility in Lithuania Unknown individuals tried to set fire to a facility storing Starlink equipment in Lithuania overnight. The sabotage attempt failed, Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius said on Facebook. On Monday, he is convening a National Security Commission meeting. The trigger is a separate incident: a drone that flew in this morning, prompting the country’s highest level of air alert. Starlink sites have already been targeted in Europe. On September 23, a ground station caught fire in Poland, and in October, Bulgarian officials reported a possible arson attack on 11 of 17 Starlink antennas near Sofia.

Since the American President announced the energy ceasefire a week ago, Russia has deliberately attacked Ukraine’s energy and oil and gas sectors 76 times. Last night alone, there were strikes on substations in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa regions. Tens of thousands of families remain without power. Energy workers and repair crews are working virtually around the clock to restore electricity supply. Overnight, the Russians also struck residential buildings in our regions. As of now, 12 people have been reported injured, including two children. Two people have been killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. This morning, there was a strike on an agricultural enterprise in Volyn. All necessary services are working at the site. In total, over this past week, the Russians have attacked Ukraine with almost 2,700 attack drones, 1,700 aerial bombs, and 66 missiles, most of them ballistic. The main targets of these strikes are energy facilities – the Russians are trying to cause a blackout. And America should see that Russia is not taking any reciprocal steps in response to sanctions relief or agreements. On the contrary, they take every signal of an opportunity to make money as proof that their bet on war is paying off and they can keep fighting. It is because of this position of Russia’s that the war continues, not because Ukraine is rightfully defending itself. It is Russia that must face pressure for peace to have a chance. Thank you to everyone who understands this and helps.

Russia is replenishing previously depleted military storage bases with newly manufactured tanks and armored vehicles, according to an investigation by Radio Liberty. One of these bases is just 500 km from the Russian border with NATO. Satellite imagery shows that the 22nd Central Tank Reserve Base in Bui, Kostroma region, has received new T-90M tanks and BTR-82A armored personnel carriers between October 2025 and October 2026. Meanwhile, Russia’s 349th Central Tank Storage Base in Topchikha, Altai Krai, has also reportedly received significant quantities of military equipment, including potentially hundreds of additional vehicles. The findings suggest that despite heavy battlefield losses in Ukraine, Russia’s defense industry continues to produce and repair armored vehicles while rebuilding its reserves. Although Moscow publicly denies plans to attack NATO countries, the growing stockpiles and expansion of military infrastructure near Northern Europe’s borders are telling another story. 📹: Covert Cabal

Zelenskyy was democratically elected in 2019. Putin has held power since 1999 and changed the constitution to extend his rule. Russia launches the missiles. Replacing Zelenskyy won't stop them. Stop the aggressor, not the country defending itself.

Russia keeps striking Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Washington suspends the sanctions designed to pressure Moscow into ending the war. If peace is the goal, what incentive does Putin have to stop when the pressure is being lifted?
