my Sony A7S II needs repairing, the battery compartment is broken and thinks my batteries are dead when they've just been fully charged. the repair cost would be at least £200-300. the screen is scratched and it's 6 years old. do I save for the sony a7s III instead?

Next weekend is the last weekend I will ever set foot in my parental home before we hand over the keys to the next family and we move out for good. SO much more emotional than I thought. Those walls have heard our family's laughter and grief for years. It's seen me grow up. Ooft.
