My bill will ensure these agencies can meet the needs of their communities during emergencies.

We talk a lot about climate change as fire or flood. But HEAT is the quiet killer. If you agree, tell your state rep to help @AsmLuzRivas & I pass AB585 & invest now to keep the most vulnerable safe/cool in their homes & neighborhoods. latimes.com/opinion/story/20…

How it works folks: 1️⃣Wildfire experts come to me & others with solutions. 2️⃣We introduce bills. 3️⃣Supermajority votes them down or refuses even a hearing. 4️⃣Fires continue to get worse. 5️⃣Supermajority cancels wildfire oversight hearing.

You want to do something about climate change? Get into the forest & reduce the fuels causing these fires to explode. CA's carbon reduction goals are obliterated year after year. 106 metric tons of carbon emitted in 2020 alone from wildfire!
