Channel Points? Channel 👏 Points 👏. Let your viewers redeem new BetterTTV emotes right from chat by turning on the new Twitch Channel Points Reward in your BetterTTV dashboard at betterttv.com. Pretty neat.

We've also refreshed the emote slot limits for flexibility. You can now disable emotes and keep them in your inventory for later. We've also bumped the maximum emotes to 50 for all, and up to 500 for Pro users.

Default settings are not loading properly in version 7.4.11. Most existing users should be unaffected, but if you’re seeing weird chat behavior (like missing username colors) you can reset your BetterTTV settings from the BetterTTV Settings -> About tab as a quick fix.

BetterTTV v7.4.0 brings emotes to YouTube live chat! This update is still rolling out to all browsers and users, but if you see a popup asking for new permissions that is from us! For streamers: you'll also soon be able to connect your YouTube channel to your BetterTTV account.

We pushed out an update around an hour ago fixing BetterTTV for Twitch’s latest site updates. @GoogleChrome update is unfortunately still pending a review from the Chrome Web Store team. If you’re using other browsers you should be able to update the extension.
