Language becomes a barrier to human development when we stop treating it as a tool for exploring reality and start treating it as the authority on what reality can be.

On october 8th, a “solar tsunami” swept across the sun at over 1 million mph w/ a shockwave taller than Earth. The eruption launched a CME that helped trigger a strong geomagnetic storm on october 10th and then the same sunspot erupted again that day. The interesting thing is that these storms affect more than just the auroras we see in the sky. They actually also disturb Earth’s magnetosphere & can even induce electrical currents through the ground itself. Imo space weather is going to get a lot more attention as we learn just how interconnected the ☀️ and 🌎 really are.
