We have a new number.

Lorenzo Pickett is native Jersey City resident, residing in the Greenville area. Portraits of African-American icons, executed with expressionistic brushstrokes and colors, is his theme. We’re sorry to see his show come down, but we look forward to displaying his new work soon.

We’ve been taking advantage of the down-time to make improvements. The installation of new seating in the Bethune theater is one of them. Our guests will soon enjoy a much better movie-going experience during activities such as Indie Film Night, Senior Cinema Showcase, and more.

We’ve heard the requests of the community, and have upgraded our fitness equipment; which will now provide a more complete workout experience for all body types. We look forward to seeing everyone once again working up a sweat in our professionally instructed fitness classes.

Special thanks to our guest performers The Full Will of God Gospel Ministries, our host Matthew Kirkwood and judges Alita Carter, Pastor Alex Williams, and Michael Falligan. We also want to thank Gospel Legend Cissy Houston for gracing this wonderful occasion! See ya next time!

Special Thanks to all of our Bethune Friends & Family for attending our Bethune Joyful Noise Gospel Competition 2019! Congratulations to our 1st Place Winners Advent Harmonic Choir, 2nd Place Winners Montclair State University , and our 3rd Place Winners Ghana Emmanuel Jr. Choir!
