I've hardly used Showdown since Champions released, but I've had even less desire to do so amidst all these bots running around. The quest to solve a game is simultaneously a quest to kill its spirit. Never thought this could happen to my game.

you might be thinking "they don't have Rock Slide flinches in Baseball" true, yes. but Charizard also can't tear his ACL

If you like Pokémon, perhaps I can introduce you to another turn-based RPG with switching out, deep stat analysis, field conditions, and a whole host of oddly named and shaped little guys to choose as your comfort character. That's right, it's Baseball.

Held champion tier for most of the season but crashed at the end. This team has been a lot of fun after the little adjustments made. Wondering what to climb with for this season 🤔

Currently sitting at 26-10. Will probably play out the rest of my games tomorrow but overall happy with how I’m playing. Metagross still the GOAT

Watching my opponent go for a soul read but I have no soul so they just lose the game on the spot and look stupid as fuck while doing it
