🐟 So today I found a goldfish just on the grass in my back garden. It was alive, I think, and have absolutely no idea where it came from. There’s no ponds anywhere near. So I took it inside….

Notice to BSH Members and followers: Changes to our social media channels
Following careful consideration, we’ve decided that the British Society for Heart Failure will step away from X (formerly Twitter).
This decision reflects an ongoing review of where we can best support professional engagement and deliver value to our members. Increasingly, other platforms are where we see the strongest interaction with our clinical and academic community.
Our focus remains on supporting healthcare professionals through high-quality education, resources, and opportunities to connect.
We will continue to share updates via our website, newsletter, LinkedIn, and other appropriate channels.
Thank you for your continued support.

Sad to see that a once great UK medical journal has been turned into one of those predatory land-fill "research" factories. Rejected 2 commissioned (!) reviews I'd written with resident drs so I've asked to be removed from their editorial board & blocked their emails/X account.
