On Wednesday, New York politician Brad Lander called Israel's occupation a crime. On Friday, he described the killing of two Israeli soldiers in the illegally occupied West Bank a "criminal act." The two soldiers were killed at an illegal Israeli military checkpoint near Hebron, in territory where the International Court of Justice ruled in 2024 that Israel’s continued presence is unlawful. Under international humanitarian law, military personnel are generally legitimate targets, and attacking them is not in itself a war crime, unlike deliberately targeting civilians. The act of armed resistance is “criminal,” however, under Israeli military law, which Israel unlawfully imposes on Palestinians in the illegally occupied West Bank. The UN General Assembly has repeatedly affirmed "the legitimacy of the struggle of peoples" against "foreign occupation by all available means, including armed struggle," most notably in Resolution 37/43 in 1982. No civilians were reported killed in Friday's operation.
I’m grieving the deaths of the two Israeli soldiers killed in Hebron today, and praying for the full & speedy recovery of those who were injured. I’ve spoken out loudly this week against Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, which imposes violence on a daily basis, and I will continue to do so. But violence is not the path to ending it — or to achieving safety, freedom, and peace for both Palestinians and Israelis. And neither is collective punishment or ethnic cleansing of an entire neighborhood, or punishing millions of people for the criminal act of two, which Netanyahu has promised to enact in response. I’ve seen a lot this week and I’ll have more to say about in the coming days (I’m on my way home shortly). There is a path to ending this excruciating cycle of violence. It starts by insisting that every life is sacred, that everyone is created in God’s image. For now: Shabbat Shalom, to everyone who believes in the hard work of making peace & justice a reality, for everyone.

This is what @infinite_jaz wrote about Brad Lander’s trip to the occupied West Bank just yesterday:

Israel is starting a campaign of mass forced displacement and demolitions in Hebron in the West Bank. Two gunmen killed two IDF soldiers (do Palestinians have a right to defend themselves?). Israel is responding with collective punishment and mass demolitions of homes. Fascists.

A couple of hours ago, we interviewed a 22-year-old Palestinian American, Zakaria, whose entire village is currently blockaded by the Israeli military. He told us that Israeli military equipment is being moved into nearby villages, equipment he says hasn’t been seen in the West Bank since the First Intifada. Report in reply. [[Photo sent to us by Zakaria showing him and his friends smoking cigarettes and refreshing Telegram to “monitor the situation” as Israeli forces impose closures across the West Bank.]]

Hey Mark! We know Israel’s influence on American politics is a major issue. Everyday Americans want to know why their tax dollars are being spent overseas, funding foreign wars, and that's not going to change no matter how hard you try to ignore it. So we’ll keep covering it. Unlike certain media outlets (like the one you work for), we won't pretend questions about foreign influence don't exist. We’re digging into the money, the political connections, and the decisions that put American interests on the line. We don't ignore the fact that 94% of Congressional Lawmakers accept foreign money. Or that Israel dragged the U.S. into a 10-month war costing Americans billions of dollars. Anyone who's interested in any of our 2,617 pieces mentioning Israel should head over to our site at Dailycaller.com to check them out for themselves. They're not too shabby. And a shout-out to @EFischberger for taking the time to highlight our work. Journalism can be a thankless profession, so it’s always nice to know someone’s reading. This is just the beginning. We’ll keep asking the questions, following the money, and holding the people in power accountable, regardless of how much they squirm.

Jimmy seems to have a problem with the Quincy Institute because its mission is to encourage restraint in US foreign policy in the pursuit of world peace..and that's no bueno for an Israel shill such as himself. Who funds the Middle East forum, where Jim serves as its chief strategist? Why did a US-based think tank, launched by a former state department official, have something known as the "Israel Victory Project" which seeks “to steer US policy toward backing an Israel victory over the Palestinians”? Jim is willing to throw Americans, our service members and the global economy under the bus for Israel's war against Iran. Yet he has the audacity to smear Trita Parsi as un-American? Hilarious. All will be laid bare in a piece I'm working on for my Substack. Stay tuned.
So I went on @piersmorgan's show yesterday. I like his show, but I have declined many previous invitations because I don't think it's a fit for me. I agreed yesterday, hoping the other panelists would be willing to engage in a real debate for at least a few minutes. Boy, was I overestimating him :) Hanson immediately starts throwing personal attacks and lies at me, forcing me to interrupt him in an attempt to bring the conversation back to factual matters. But if someone doesn't have enough dignity and self-respect to avoid embarrassing himself by sinking this low, you can't expect them to respect the rules of debate either. To Piers' defense, he did step in and made many of the substantive points I planned to make. Anyways, here's yet another attempt by warmongers to disqualify me through slanderous attacks rather than address the actual substance of my argument. I would say enjoy, but not sure you will :)

So, the Biden administration knew that an American journalist was kidnapped and interrogated by the Israelis for doing his job and their only response was to do nothing. Got it.
I obtained 140 pages of internal State Department emails from when I was being imprisoned and interrogated by the IDF. The correspondence reveals that U.S. officials referred to me as “kidnapped” by the Israeli military while explicitly refusing to consider me "wrongfully detained." Officials were informed of day-long interrogations and made aware of my detention in a notoriously abusive Israeli prison. The emails show no U.S. effort to intervene on my behalf, only a focus on PR and limiting political fallout. Link in reply

Tapper wants to kill himself
“It was like this biblical battle where the Palestinian men … went in front of me to protect … me and my rescuers from being attacked again,” Washington Post photojournalist Heidi Levine told Jake Tapper. Levine was kicked, beaten with clubs and robbed by Israeli settlers while covering Friday’s olive harvest in the occupied West Bank, leaving her with multiple broken bones. Speaking after leaving the hospital, she said Israeli soldiers charged Palestinian farmers as settlers advanced alongside them. She said that unlike her, Palestinian victims endure these attacks daily, with absolutely nowhere safe to go.

Robert Kraft raised $32M for his Blue Square Alliance at a gala last night with Tom Brady and Jon Bon Jovi. Kraft's "charity" operates a Zionist spy network inside of Gillette Stadium that tracks "anti-Semitism" on the internet in real time.
Fox News' Dana Perino hails Robert Kraft as a "man of principle" who "stuck to his guns" by canceling Macklemore when he "tried to basically go after Jews."

The UAE is literally the reason the RSF has the capacity to commit genocide in Sudan, and now you're arguing that the UAE should basically take control of the UN? We all know that your intention is for Israel & the UAE to split control of the region between them
How did UAE become the largest global provider of humanitarian aid to Gaza, according to UN data? Because of Lana Nussaibeh—a diplomat who knows everyone and works with them to GSD. She would be an inspired choice for this impossible job.
