Businesses were shuttered (especially here in Oregon) and in many cases had to take EIDL loans to survive. Yes, there was fraud, but in most cases, no. With new information coming out about the pandemic, much of which we speculated was the case-now is the time to help small businesses. Hey @YouTube I appreciate that YouTube now supports cinematic and anamorphic formats (such as 2.35:1 and 2.39:1), which are becoming increasingly popular with creators thanks to companies like @AtlasLensCo / @BlazarLens / @moment bringing anamorphic to the masses. However, the current limitation on adding end screens to videos with these aspect ratios is a MAJOR drawback. End screens are a KEY engagement tool, but because they are locked to a 16:9 grid, they either appear misaligned with the active picture area or are disabled altogether. This makes it difficult for filmmakers and creators using anamorphic to take full advantage of YouTube’s platform. Creators would love to see YouTube update end screen support so it adapts to the actual video aspect ratio rather than assuming 16:9. This would empower filmmakers to maintain their desired look while still leveraging engagement tools that are critical for growing on the platform. It's 2025, let's make it happen! Thanks for considering this — it would make a big difference for creators who are pushing beyond 16:9. Thank you!
