New followers to various layer 1s on X are no where near where they were in 2021

Here is a 30 day moving average of new followers to various crypto accounts on Twitter (X). Note the mania of 2021 compared to everything since then. This shows you why there was never a durable rotation into alts... there was no one here to buy them.

This is one of the most important charts right now. If SPX breaks down against Gold, the environment we have found ourselves in for the last decade will completely change.
