Hey gang, it’s been a long time since I’ve been here. In full disclosure, I needed to reset. I had gone down a dark path and was not happy with what I had become on here. It was just kinda mean. The reset has been great and I’m going to be bringing only positivity from now on.
I’ve gone back and deleted a bunch of stuff that really doesn’t represent who I am or how I feel now. If that bothers you, I’m sorry. There may also be some apologies headed the way of people I may have been particularly nasty to, but if you are reading this, I’m sincerely sorry.
The anticipation on Porchfest Eve is palpable. It’s not quite Christmas Eve as a kid, but for an adult that lives in Springfield, it’s pretty darn cool. @SPARJax

The Iowa poll is interesting but it doesn’t change the game plan. Harris likely will NOT win Iowa, but the poll does tell us that if we show up…we win. Act accordingly. Go vote. Call 3 friends and tell them to vote. Whatever it takes!
I’ve been wearing my Harris/Walz camo hat out for several weeks. I received zero mentions until the last week. In the last few days I’ve had at least a dozen people say “I like your hat”. 100% of them have been women. Small sample size, but still interesting.
This is the proper perspective. It is possible and traditionally acceptable to be able to respect another person who has opposing viewpoints. Some would make you believe this idea is a thing of the past. To that I say….pfft… you don’t understand the American spirit.

I am not saying that makes me a better person, but I am also not saying it doesn’t.
Something that has bothered me for a long time is political pundits referring to persuadable voters in a way that seems like they are looking down their nose at them. “How could you?”
Hell yeah, I’m persuadable. Currently I’m persuaded by John Kelly, Mark Milley, Mike Penc…etc

What could have changed this consistent pattern so dramatically?
If you vote by mail, it is important to make sure your ballot was counted. In Duval county, you can check that at Duval elections.com. My ballot was just received and counted today.
