At 12noon today across our stations and offices we held a minutes silence for Firefighters' Memorial Day.
We took time to think about those who have lost their life in the line of duty and to think about the bravery and dedication our staff show every day in their jobs ❤🚒

One of the things I love about my job is helping people tell their stories and this is a amazing example of that. Devon is one of the kindest people you will ever meet and it’s an honour to work alongside her and other amazing women in GMFRS #IWD2023
Devon is a Firefighter in #Oldham
She has specialists skills in trauma, she's a hydraulic platform ladder cage operator (huge ladders to rescue people at height) & she's a driver.
We're delighted to have Devon & other women like her doing vital roles protecting Greater Manchester
