Tonight is going to be emotional
The sights and sounds before the game will never be seen again
Don’t be afraid to be upset. Tonight we will be together
Arm in arm, we will remember Rob

This is the right decision and needed making. I was a Smith supporter for a long time but enough was enough, things weren’t looking like getting better.
The club now has to get it right, McDermott had to go when he did, but we haven’t got it right since and it’s been 6/7 years!

All players at the club who wear the famous 7 shirt worn by Rob Burrow will have a special reminder of the legendary star when they play for Leeds
In line with the wishes of Rob & his family, the number will not be retired but instead be a lasting tribute across all Rhinos teams

Absolutely devastated by the loss of Rob Burrow. You were an inspiration long before your diagnosis and inspired millions more since. An absolute hero, a warrior, a legend. Words aren’t enough to explain how much you meant to people. You’ll never be forgotten. Sleep well Rob 💙💛
There’s bad, then there’s this. Genuinely embarrassing. What has this club become?
