78 FIFA Member Associations to make their FIFA World Cup debut at inaugural U-15 World Cup & Festival in Baku
⚽️78 of the 189 teams in Baku have never previously played at a FIFA World Cup – men’s or women’s, at any age level
⚽️For many U-15 players, the tournament will include their first journey abroad and their first appearance wearing their country’s jersey
⚽️The new event combines international competition with educational activities, meetings with FIFA Legends and awareness campaigns, placing development and enjoyment at its heart

Behind the ‘celly’ - Every time we play, my son Max always asks players to do a celebration for him. This time he asked if they could do the James Tavernier celebration and it became a bit of a thing throughout the whole @ConcacafW U17 tournament!
We are starting to get a big @RangersFC following in Anguilla! 😂

Always thought the @FALearning CPD was a bit flawed and difficult to access because there isn’t enough opportunities to do it. What about those working full time? What about those overseas? What about those in positions that can’t take the time off to be on a webinar and actively take part?
Why do UEFA Pro coaches have to renew their licence every 3 years — but doctors, lawyers, or teachers don’t? 🤔
Arne Slot said it best:
“Every three years we have to do schooling to keep our licence. But I learn every single day. Every day is a refreshing course.”
He’s right. Coaches are constantly studying — analysing games, leading people, adapting to chaos. That is education.
Maybe it’s time UEFA trusted the profession a bit more — or at least asked who really benefits from this mandatory “re-education”. 🎓⚽
Who stands with Arne Slot on this one? 👀
Has anybody had this happen to them? Is it going to be a quick fix or is it likely @EnglandLearning have no records of my qualifications at all?

Really touched to receive an award recognising the work that we have done with the TDS. It doesn't happen without the great support from the Anguilla Football Association, the coaching team and most importantly the players.
For 2 and a half years we’ve been relentlessly working to get to where we currently are. Creating a male and female High Performance pathway from scratch hasn’t been an easy but the journey has been the most rewarding thing I’ve done in my professional life.
I’m excited to see what the future holds and the progress made for the Anguilla National age groups and Senior National Teams because of the impact of the program. Currently we are on 15 Senior debuts from the TDS with the potential of more in the coming months.
🇦🇮
We go in to the competition without fear and face every obstacle head on. 🇦🇮 #endurance #unity #strength
Another groundbreaking moment in Anguilla this weekend as we host a U14 Girls TDS competition with ourselves, Dominica 🇩🇲 St Kitts & Nevis 🇰🇳 and British Virgin Islands 🇻🇬.
We have been very active with fixtures recently with our TDS Boys U15’s travelling to Dominica and BVI and now it’s the girls turn for fixtures.
A question that was posed to me got me thinking. Is this the first organised TDS Girls competition held in the region? Highly likely... Is it the first organised TDS Girls competition in the world? A very good chance!
In a region that simply doesn’t play enough Women and Girls football, I’m proud to be a part of th Anguilla Football Association who will go above and beyond to ensure that our youngest players are given a chance.
🇦🇮
Another landmark moment for the Anguilla FA Talent Development Scheme.
🇦🇮TDS U15 BOYS IN DOMINICA 🇩🇲
This past weekend, our TDS U15 took to the field in Dominica for two international friendlies. A critical part of their growth & exposure under the @FIFAcom Technical Development Scheme.
Match 1: 🇩🇲1-1🇦🇮
Match 2: 🇩🇲5-0🇦🇮
One of the joys of coming home for a couple of weeks is going on as many games as we can to make up for lost time watching football together.
This time, the boy said he would rather do anything than go and watch Rovers at the minute 🤦♂️
Best of luck to everyone involved with Chorley Women FC tonight.
A club that truly deserves their recent success and hopefully they will add to it and win the County Cup!

After what has been a very intense year, I submitted a 41 page TDS High Performance report this week. I always enjoy the process of reflective report writing and this is a great opportunity to take stock of where we are, celebrate the success of the TDS and plan for 2025.
It’s been an incredible year.
🇦🇮 Implement a game, playing principles and training model.
🇦🇮 Create a player model for the behaviours we want to develop in our future players.
🇦🇮Create Talent ID systems and processes.
🇦🇮 Implement a coach model for what behaviours we want from our TDS Coaches.
🇦🇮Devise short, medium and long term goals and being above target on most.
🇦🇮Outlining the amount of games that need to be played together as a TDS and the amount individuals need to play per year.
🇦🇮WU15 taking part in the CONCACAF Qualifiers in Aruba just missing out on the playoffs on the final day.
🇦🇮MU14 taking part in CFU Qualifiers in Trinidad & Tobago reaching the semi finals.
🇦🇮FIFA Talent Coach arriving and settling in to Anguilla, instantly becoming a key member of the team.
🇦🇮MU17 and WU17 being onboarded to the TDS and preparing for the World Cup Qualifiers in Jan/Feb.
🇦🇮MU12 Playing international Friendlies against smaller islands which is the start of U12’s being onboarded in 2025.
🇦🇮WU14 Playing 4 games and winning all 4 in December.
🇦🇮12 Female players (11 debuts) making appearances in the SWNT who played in the Women’s Leeward Islands Competition in December where we won 3 and lost the final on penalties.
Let’s see what 2025 brings!
