I don't post often, but this got my goat today.
Small businesses are already failing. In 2025–26, 13.8% of Australian businesses stopped trading. About one in seven. ABS exit rate. 375,331 firms.
The paperwork is in excellent health.
I cannot invoice a construction job until a Justice of the Peace watches me swear I have paid my own staff. Every claim. Every head contractor. We have no subcontractors. It is a solemn promise that I have paid the people I do not have.
Wages and super are already law. Section 75 of the Queensland Building Industry Fairness Act is the excuse. End the ridiculous admin burden on small business. Start with this.

Could you *PLEASE* put a note on your app for when someone forgets their password that reminds them of the minimum requirements. Ie 12 characters- because I would have remembered that I had to use a specific password instead of having to reset it and then remembering which one I used when the *RESET FUNCTION TOLD ME THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*.

Australia's social media ban for U16s is set to come into effect soon.
Of course, this will require anyone creating a social media account to hand over personal ID, and possibly a government digital ID.
This week, I co-signed the Social Media Minimum Age Repeal Bill 2025, introduced by Senator Ralph Babet which would undo these changes, to protect digital privacy.
