WC planning was fun, this is the end result. Haaland + Salah team, trusting / hoping Salah will do well with good fixtures and before AFCON. Invested all budget in defense and midfield (+Haaland). Plan is to attack the fixtures short term (incl FH13). 1/2

And then use the free transfers to make some changes again. Mbeumo vs Bruno was a tough call, I'm counting on the goalscoring potential (and good form) of Mbeumo. Salah captaincy to be different and in ideal scenario catch up vs other teams. Here we go! 🤞 2/2

Final stages of FPL WC12 planning 😅 It's been fun and exciting, but also difficult now to make the 'right' decisions. There's so much good content out here, I've been collecting bits and pieces during the IB. 1/3

So you wonder what still could go wrong, haha. 😂 Well, too much information also leads to too many opinions... I enjoy collecting data, but then play my own game. Let's see; 1 more day to go, 1 more day to collect information. ⚽️ 3/3

Nice that #FPL will be back this weekend! Looks like I can save a transfer, happy with the team, even though it will need a new GK soon. WC still available, but will save it for later. Good luck everyone! 👍

Ready for #FPL GW6! Started with 4 free transfers, used 3; Watkins, Wirtz, Munoz out / Haaland, Semenyo, Vd Ven in. 🔁 Happy I could get to this team without having to WC yet. Next week likely getting an ARS defender. Hoping NFO can keep a CS this week. 🤞TC Haaland quite likely.

#FPL thought as we're preparing for GW6; I'm surprised nobody is mentioning Doku as differential pick. He's really been looking good recently and seems to have worked on his game, making him much more effective. I'd love to fit him in, I'm just not sure who to drop... (not on WC)

@FPLGeneral maybe a question for your pod?

Funny how I’m now watching the final minutes of a football game, hoping that Virgil will get one more headed clearance, just to get 2 more #FPL points… 🤣 Actually, make that 4 extra points as my captain. Defcon is a nice addition to the game, @OfficialFPL. 👌

Green Grass FC, ready for #FPL GW5 ⚽️ Hoping the double NFO defense will finally deliver some points, last week for Wirtz and Watkins, rolling the transfer to 4 next week, captaincy really difficult, currently on big Virg. Good luck all! 👍

Green Grass FC ready for #FPL GW4! ⚽️ I kept two transfers for the IB but it turns out I won’t need them. 😄 A bit worried that Watkins will brace when I put him on the bench, but I think it’s the logical thing to do. Captaincy could still switch. Good luck all! 💪

1/3 Green Grass FC GW3 review and thoughts: 63 points (15 above average) Overall thoughts: · Quite a good gameweek, mostly thanks to strong performance by defenders · NFO double clean-sheet down the bin in the 85th minute was painful · Doubting if Kudus-in was the right transfer… Didn’t seem to be very involved in the game (at least not in the highlights), Semenyo looked much more dangerous, so did Sarr · The Bruno late penalty goal was nice as I have him in my team, but probably my GW rank would have been better without that goal, as my gap vs Bruno captainers would have been bigger (I captained JP) · Will be patient during the IB now, price changes will happen, but I think it’s more important to wait for information and save the transfers until the end. Many players will play 2 games for their national teams, injuries can happen.

2/3 GW3 review: · NFO defense; Double defense hasn’t helped me this season yet, they were close to the CS though. Will at least keep them for the next 3 fixtures which include BUR and SUN · VVD: Master of the LIV defense, in such great form. Didn’t expect the CS · Munoz: Very nice 9 points, no assist this time, but CS, Defcon and bonus · Cucurella: Chelsea defense looking good, Cucu is so involved going forward as well · Reijnders: The City form is a concern, and there are enough alternatives in midfield. No change for now though · Kudus: Disappointing performance from Spurs and Kudus, but still good upcoming fixtures · Gakpo: Good game, very involved in Liverpool’s attacking gameplay, happy to own. I believe his spot is secure as well, Slot likes him · Bruno: Very involved, running the show at UTD. Different routes to points · Watkins: This is becoming a concern now, Villa had good opening fixtures, but performed really poorly. Don’t see improvement · Joao Pedro: Another goal from the Chelsea striker, perfect

3/3 Watchlist: · Defense: At some point Neco Williams might have to go, if there are no returns coming. Was expecting Defcon points, but it’s not happening. Good alternatives available, e.g. Arsenal defender, Senesi, another Palace defender, etc. · Midfield: Everton looked impressive (and were having fun), Grealish and KDH good options, Semenyo looked really good again, could have scored 2 goals, Sarr has 2 very nice upcoming fixtures, Enzo very important for Chelsea. · Attack: It could be quite easy to go from Watkins to Isak now… but will he start right away in the LIV team? Haaland scoring goals, but not enough yet to justify his price tag. Mateta good option based on fixtures.

FPL Green Grass FC GW3 team. Moved the armband from Bruno to JP… Difficult call, betting on (team) form vs fixture. Hoping Forest can keep a clean sheet and Watkins to start scoring. Kudus new in the team. Here we go! Good luck all. 👍

FPL Green Grass FC transfer made for GW3: Palmer out, Kudus in. ⚽️ Also considered Sarr, but I’m counting on Spurs to continue their good start and Kudus to do well in the team. Spoke about him in our podcast, but I think it’s the first time I own him. Here we go! 💪

1/3 Green Grass FC GW2 review and thoughts: 61 points (10 above average) Overall thoughts: · Doubted a lot about BB, in the end I did it. The Palmer injury messed it up from the start, end result = 9 bench points, I’ll take it. · Bruno missing the penalty had quite a big impact on total score. · Team still looks quite strong, even without Palmer (if he’s out). Tempting to save the transfer and have 3 for the IB. · If I would go for a transfer, I do really like Richarlison and maybe also Semenyo in midfield, for Wirtz or Palmer (depending on injury news).

2/3 GW2 review: · NFO defense; Wasn’t expecting them to keep a CS vs Palace, but I wasn’t sure about starting Dubravka either. So, the BB helped here. · VVD: Quite fun to watch the game live on TV and cheer for all his defensive headers. 2 Defcon points again, but also no CS again. · Cucu: Nice assist from corner kick flick-on, strong performance by Chelsea, happy to own. · Munoz: First assist from him, that’s why I have him in the team. Palace looking good overall. · Palmer: Really unfortunate he got injured, especially knowing the end result now. Will probably keep him for now. · Liverpool midfield: As said last week, currently Wirtz doesn’t look too good for FPL points, even though we know his track record from the Bundesliga. He might be a sell for now. Gakpo doing the job again, with 2 assists. · Reijnders: He won’t score goals each week, but I’m still quite convinced he’ll have a good season at City. · Bruno: Penalties was one of the reasons to pick him… He’s still very involved, but UTD have more options now. Will keep for BUR for sure, then reassess. · Joao Pedro: Very good player in a strong team, no doubts about him. · Watkins: Villa just have looked quite poor overall, not creating much. Very good upcoming fixtures, but I am getting a bit worried. · Evanilson: Expected a bit more from him in this game, unlucky to get tackled when he was through on goal (defender got the red card for it)

3/3 Watchlist: · Mostly thinking about a midfield substitution, if any. In that case I really like Richarlison, as out of position nr9, in a strong Spurs team. Semenyo could be another option. · I’ll also keep an eye on Grealish, his post-match interview sounded really good. We know how good and creative he was in his Villa days. · In attack, I like Wood. · Not planning any defensive transfers.
