If you believe people should be free to wear whatever they want, why does that freedom suddenly disappear when a woman chooses to wear a hijab?
Surely freedom includes the right to make choices you personally wouldn’t make?

Much more of this nonsense and we're going to have to insist that America stop using British places in their names - we're talking to you New York, Boston and Washington

If anyone of my followers notice I have retweeted the racist scum Alex Armstrong, please note this is only to aid in making his apology more visible to @MothinAli. I would encourage any of my followers/mutuals to retweet the hell out of it too!

Completely inaccurate, which is strange considering you work for a 'news' channel

Yeah but the problem that racism apologist and career failure Robert Jenrick has overlooked here is the fact that the BBC isn’t in the hat to become the next government…
Is his middle name Whataboutery???
A man with zero credibility in any room

Reform councillors and candidates have been recorded expressing racist and sexist views by @itvnews.
These aren't just "bad apples". This is who Reform is.
It is a racist, sexist party, with racist, sexist policies.

Absolute WORST guest I’ve ever been on with…
A pathetic Trump apologist
First he defends the tiger video
And then listen to the state of what he says when I challenge him on Trump’s betrayal of Ukraine…

Someone who knows Mark Gaskell said he has not been allowed to see his children for the past year.
Sounds about right. He was confident enough to racially abuse a child and her mother in public. Imagine how he behaves behind closed doors.

Our Chief Mouser Larry is back at Downing Street following a minor operation, and is recovering well.
He is feline much better but taking things one paw at a time.
We are grateful to the vets for their outstanding care.
6% of the UK population are Muslim, and 4% of UK MPs are Muslim.
Stop all this bullshit that they are somehow taking over and controlling the country.
It's all just far right propaganda.
I'd rather see a decent Muslim with honest values who serves their community as an MP, than the utter scumbag, criminal, wife beating grifters who represent the far right.

I know this isn’t a silver bullet. It might help some people find cheaper fuel, but it doesn’t mean that’s all we’re doing to help people with the cost of living.
We’re cutting VAT on electricity bills. Capping bus fares at £2 in England. Giving disabled people 24/7 free bus travel. Making it easier to cancel subscriptions. Cutting business rates for pubs, clubs and music venues. Stopping schools from demanding endless expensive branded uniforms. Ensuring if your train is cancelled, you can use your ticket on other operators free of charge. Fuel duty is staying frozen to the end of the year.
Yes, on their own, I accept that these things don’t seem like much when people’s lives have gotten harder. There’s a lot still to do.
But I won’t shy away from the big issues either. It’s why I made announcements last week on more public control of water, energy, and housing, to make the basics better for people long-term.
Together, these changes add up, and no matter how small it may seem, I will pull every single lever I can to help people, whenever I can.
