If you are already providing transcription for your podcast, be sure to upload the srt file to your podcast host so that apps that support transcriptions will be able to see it. Here is a list of all apps supporting Podcast 2.0 features. podnews.net/article/new-podc…
Glad I read this! The subtitle lured me in… ‘How the past of Personal Computing gives us a hint into the future of Personal Library Science.’ Def going back through the archives and subscribing to @_bramses newsletter.

Something that fills me with a lot of optimism and energy for the future:
There’s a significant intersection in the groups of people who love (not just using) Perplexity (web research), Notion (knowledge base and editor for work), Arc (modern browser), Raycast (modern launcher or toolbar). Possibilities are endless in how users can benefit from delightful consumer and prosumer products built by non tech giants!
I’m going to use this @mattcassinelli Perplexity.ai result as a test to see when GPT4 starts reading descriptions instead of only listening to an AI transcript to get names.
Until then, I guess Matthew Kelly is a little easier to spell.

🔆 I just finished the Linking Your Thinking Workshop with @nickmilo and I really have to continue to tell people to make the time to do this course. If you’ve ever considered it, please consider it harder!! It’s so worth it. You will be glad you did it. Guaranteed!

“Today, Americans across the country can sleep better knowing that their families, their children, and themselves are safer from random acts of podcasting,” Joe Biden said in a conference on Friday. 😆

I've always loved the year end music charts & have really enjoyed making my own lists to record my listening history each year. #obsidian beglitched.com/2023-albums/
If you are an Obsidian user, check this app out. I’ve needed a quick way to get images into Obsidian on mobile - this solves that! Many ways to use this app!
Excited to release my new iOS app, Funnel, to the App Store! 🚀
Funnel is the simplest way to capture your thoughts, and funnel them to into favorite apps like @obsdmd , @NotionHQ , @bearnotesapp, @NotePlanApp, @RoamResearch, @culturedcode and more!

I've had fingers crossed BusyCal would go on sale. 50% off brings the Mac app to $25. Great alt Mac Calender (They didn't promote it so not tagging - busymac) busymac.com/

Transcripts are one of the greatest Podcasting 2.0 features. For decades podcasting has lacked accessibility, and now RSS hosts will transcribe your podcast for free. This helps not only with listener accessibility, but SEO and discoverability. Congrats to the @rss team! 🎉

🔆 I just finished the Linking Your Thinking Workshop with @nickmilo and am so happy to have a richer PKM that brings me a lot of joy and enables me to be more successful in my work! Can't recommend LYT enough! ❤️

We think of our PKM systems are "Obsidian" or "Notion" or "Evernote".
But PKM is everything around you, especially your internet browser.
And browsers can be so much better.
Finally, there is a better one. @browsercompany

New: we proved it could be done. I used an AI replica of my voice to break into my bank account. The AI tricked the bank into thinking it was talking to me. Could access my balances, transactions, etc. Shatters the idea that voice biometrics are foolproof vice.com/en/article/dy7axa/h…
