@BeforeTheTurn

I study the moment before a choice becomes a consequence. Decisions, timing, hidden patterns, and what happens next. See the turn before it becomes obvious.

Most bad decisions look reasonable at the start. Before the turn, I ask: what becomes irreversible, who carries the downside, and what evidence changes the plan? Follow for decision autopsies, hidden costs and practical maps. Bring a real choice—without private details.

Some of you have waited years for your life to change. May an unexpected door open for you, bringing abundance to your family and the peace to enjoy it. May God turn your quiet prayers into news you can't wait to share. What blessing are you praying for?

Do you all believe it? After 4:10 a.m. Beijing Time on September 24, the Chinese-language community on X will hit its peak traffic. Do you know why?
12
Last night, I also sensed it through a dream... Let's pray.
Tomorrow will change the world forever. Something MASSIVE is going to happen... I can't leak it but you all know deep inside what is coming. Trust your gut, and pray to God.

GPT-6 Sol and Luna have already been released. Tibo already issued a bank reset around 4:40 a.m. Did you receive it? Brothers, let’s start it up.
GPT-6 Sol and Luna are out. Not only are they a very significant improvement across the board, but also in writing and general "you know when you try it" quality. We are also permanently reducing the API price by 50% making both of them viable for a ton of new usecases and making your usage go further too, even on the subscriptions. And one more thing. We are loading a banked reset into all accounts of our Plus, Pro and Business users. Let's go! openai.com/index/introducing…

You will start to see purple everywhere. The purple reign is coming.

Tibo announced a reset for Tuesday. Earlier he hinted it would be at 2 a.m. Tuesday; five hours ago he posted an explicit reset announcement. Have you received the reset?
Ladies and gentlemen... start... your... ENGINES. We are almost Tuesday and I promised a reset for Tuesday. Among some other things. See you soon.

Watch when exceptions become routines. One delayed payment becomes three. An emergency workload becomes the permanent job. Before making another exception, ask: if this continues for six months, what will I have agreed to?

Overnight AI debate isn’t “slow down or ship.” The real test is whether faster progress comes with safer proof: public incident logs, clear response-time windows, and independent verification. What would you add as the must-have metric for model-release trust?
25
People often confuse speed with progress. In AI, the upside is often shared, but the downside is concentrated. Anthropic and OpenAI keep warning that safety may be lagging. Before the next “big push,” operators should add checkpoints, not shortcuts.

The one in your heart is thinking of you right now.

A design question this raises: when should "clear" expire back to "unknown"? I'd put the report's age beside its status, so an old observation doesn't read like a live guarantee.
OKC teen's site lets users report whether crossings are blocked, clear or have a train passing. He built it after his family repeatedly got stuck behind trains on their commute to school. bit.ly/4gH6D8c

Hypothetical: a team uses your incident-response tool once, then vanishes for a month. Did they switch tools, or simply have no incidents? I'd check what they used during the next incident before treating the silence as an onboarding failure.

Suppose a customer asks for a dashboard. They may want a new screen. Or they may want fewer status meetings. I'd ask three questions before deciding what to build:
1
47
2/ “What did you do when the number wasn't available?” Look for the workaround: a spreadsheet, a message to a colleague, a postponed decision. Follow what happened next. The missing screen may not be the costly part.
1
5
3/ “What did you do once you had the number?” If it only closed a status meeting, I'd test a short update first. If it changed a decision, I'd build around that moment. What decision does your most-used dashboard help you make?
6
Hypothetical: 10 customers want an export button. Nine need a monthly CSV; one needs a daily billing feed. I'd ship the CSV and handle the billing feed manually first. What evidence would make you build the integration now?

What part of your real job does the interview fail to measure—tool judgment, collaboration, verification, or something else? Name one concrete mismatch.
18
At the next engineering offsite, put two names beside every proposed project: who needs it now, and who will maintain it after launch. If AI has made building faster, the missing second name is where the real cost moved.

Before turning a rival app's one-star reviews into a roadmap: Which complaint repeats? Would fixing it make someone switch? Would they stay after the discount ends? A complaint identifies friction. It doesn't yet identify your customer.
