Why is the crux always not wanting to pay more taxes instead of the reallocation of existing taxes for other programs. Y’all are never this stern about your taxes going to weapons, war, and foreign countries. But God forbid we keep our working class healthy and our children safe.

Who’s paying for it?? Shit is not free. Nothing is free in any society. So who’s paying for it? I don’t want to pay more taxes.

Why is it considered radical to think that ANYONE who works 40+ hours a week in the richest country on earth, should be able to afford food, a home, and a reasonable standard of life? This was normal 70 years ago with less technology and less worker productivity.
