The guy was SHOCKED.
I showed him the other things he could do with @Monicanigeria too.
Buy airtime and data. Pay electricity and TV bills. Purchase gift cards. Get a virtual USD card for online shopping and subscriptions.
And wait o, you can also earn β¦3,000 for every verified BTC deposit through the referral programme, subject to its terms.
Before I finished explaining, other people had started asking me how to get the app. π

I entered the matter. π
I told him he could convert his supported crypto to naira himself without depending on somebody else to do it for him.
I opened my Monica app and showed him how it works.
With @Monicanigeria , you deposit supported crypto into your unique wallet address, and it is automatically converted to naira.
You can then withdraw the naira to your Nigerian bank account.
No begging your idolo to help you or running after P2P transfer

Guyssss, words cannot explain how I felt hearing this gist. π
Imagine working for your money, receiving it in crypto, and then having to beg someone you trust before you can access your own money in naira
Why should converting your hard-earned crypto have to be this stressful?
ABEG, WHERE MY MONICA APP DEY? π

The guy agreed because he trusted him.
And since then, he had been using him to exchange his crypto.
But this latest transaction?
His idolo told him it would take 3β5 business days because the amount was large.
Five days passed. Nothing.
Seven days passed. Still nothing.
He kept asking, and the answer was always that it was processing.
By the 15th day, my guy had had ENOUGH.
And that's how he showed up at the man's house.

According to my source o, I'm not the one that said it. π
This guy sees the man as his mentor. Someone he looks up to.
So when he got paid for a job in Bitcoin for the first time, he didn't know who to trust to help him convert it to naira.
His idolo offered to help.
Guess the agreement?
20% of his money for gas fees and exchange rate.
A WHOLE 20%?! π³

I've been cooking a motion design piece from a tutorial I followed, I spent a whole lot of time on it, probably way too much time, but hey, it's done that's what matters right? ππ
Also while working on this I made a mistake near the finish line that forced me to start again π
Then, when I was almost done the second time, my laptop crashed mid-animation, the funny thing is that I didn't save it, and I started again π
Well, it's done now, and I'm proud of it ππ€
I guess it's safe to say that the gigs can come in now π€
But yeahh, I'll keep learning, keep improving and keep posting my journey π

Giving each node a specific role and having them work together sounds more effective than expecting one AI to handle everything.

This is a job well done, Sleek. Even after everything you went through, you still got it done. They should start bringing the gigs o ππ

The wallet is just one piece. The real value is how everything works together.

Trust, education, and real utility all play a role in getting people to stay.

The easier it is for people to navigate a wallet, the more confident they become exploring the ecosystem.

Exactly. Hype gets attention, but real utility is what gives people a reason to stay.

138M transactions is a big number, but most of them are under a dime. Volume is up. Whether itβs real agent demand or mostly micropayment noise is still the open question.

Focusing on the trade instead of the bridges is the right idea. Only matters if it actually settles cleanly and you can still see the fees and the route.
