BB-8 glanced around, then simply took a seat once more to slide under the craft beside his pilot. "If we reroute the current, here, through the main engine, it would give you a stronger initial thrust, making acceleration more efficient."

The hybrid did so, though he showed his reluctance in the way he took all the time in the world to retrieve it. "You already get whiplash from it..."

"Master Poe thought it would be good for me to be as human as possible. Most of his ideas are... Rushed. But that was one that I took to heart."

Instead, the hybrid kicked the wrench so it was just slightly out of reach for the human. "I do not understand why you think there is a need to go faster, Master."

"BB-8. Astrotrech unit for Commander Poe Dameron, though..." He glanced down at himself, then looked up with a smile. "I have undergone a few upgrades."

"For you or for other people, Sir?" The hybrid replied, getting more comfortable where he sat.

The hybrid blinked, a soft sort of whirring sound coming from in his chest. "I... I do not believe we have met?"

BB-8 instantly crouched beside the man look at what he was doing. "Is your ship not fast enough, Master?"

"Master?" He whirred as he wandered forward. "Master Poe?"

Shuffles around the TL looking for Poe.

"Yes, Master Poe?" The hybrid hummed softly, eyws glancing up at the man.

Snuggled against the pilot, the astrotech gave a happy hum, eyes focused upon the screen.

*Making a humming sound, the praises of his pilot make the astrotech light up with pride and affection*
