Norman Finkelstein is the most effective defender Israel could ever want — because he's successfully convinced many, including some Palestinians, that he's one of its fiercest foes. But Finkelstein has never backed off his opposition to BDS and he still insists on the racist "two-state solution" to protect and defend Jewish supremacist settler privilege. Mr. Empanada's analysis of Finkelstein's dreadful performance on @briebriejoy lays it all out youtube.com/watch?v=g0GMWkos…

You're seeing just how useful liberal Zionists are for maintaining Zionism right now. You have a bunch of 'pro-Palestine', 'Anti-Zionist' commentators who are trying to rehabilitate Zionism by framing Liberal Zionists as the acceptable limit of pro-Palestine politics.

Liberal Zionists are much, much more dangerous than 'extremist' Zionists. Everyone knows what Netanyahu is - he tells you. Liberal Zionists however are practically the same, but masquerade as your friends. And many people fall for it.

The FBI arrested a member of this group after uncovering a plot to assassinate me by throwing Molotov cocktails into my home. They found EIGHT firebombs. Now, with one of their own facing federal charges, they’re still obsessively posting about me, this time because I criticized Jacob Berger last year. You cannot make this shit up.
Jacob Berger spent years as the left’s favorite Jewish prop—keffiyeh on, Israel bad, October 7 was “resistance.” Now Nerdeen Kiswani has publicly called him a grifter and predator who monetized “genocide.” The movement discarded him the second he stopped being useful. This is what happens to the kapos. The left never wanted them. It only used them. jewishdefenseleague613.subst… #JDL #JDL613 #MEIRKAHANE

Just FYI, Heidi Levine has been living as a Jewish settler in Palestine for over 40 years now.
Washington Post journalist Heidi Levine: "I was basically lynched by a gang of Jewish settlers.." Levine points out that Palestinians are being subjected to these attacks on a daily basis

Jasper Nathaniel, who built a lucrative career off showing up in the West Bank a couple of times after very likely applying for Israeli citizenship, neglects to mention that the person he calls a "legendary reporter" is an American Jew who moved to Israel.

Nothing in your article about Heidi Levine being an American turned Israeli settler of many decades and a genocide denier. No mention of her stating in your own video that her concern was how Kahanists make Israel look bad. Instead you describe her as this like she wasn’t biased

people with 🇵🇸 in bio STILL being babies about protecting the honor of the remaining emotional support “apolitical” jesters based on the Silence Technicality, 3 years into genocide they fill any silence with projecting their own politics as the default assumption—

Idc much about this but a lot of the defence in response to this post is a bit dumb & highlights how normalized zionism is even among “anti-Zionists”. If someone follows loud and proud Nazis as the Holocaust gets livestreamed you should absolutely view them suspiciously.

Yes. It's shocking that after 3 years of the Gaza genocide we have people being mesmerized by liberal Zionism. Liberal Zionists are the first to point to 'weird' or 'extreme' Zionists and frame them as outliers. Nothing there is incompatible with this.

Finkeltrolling like this will not be tolerated. We are allowed to criticize Finkelstein for his terrible positions and he doesn't deserve more slack than the rest of us. He is not a saint. If you do this, it will only encourage me. Be advised: xitter.cf/MrBranDuh/status/21121…

Hey, I get where you’re coming from, but let’s not start going after Norman Finkelstein. He’s one of the of the good guys who has been fighting the good fight for years, even to the detriment of his own career. Let’s cut him some slack, rather than eat our own. 🫶

Norman Finkelstein's valiant effort to defend Zionism from the accurate charge of racism is historically wrong. As Joseph Massad explains, Zionism is and has always been racism middleeasteye.net/opinion/zi…

It’s direct action with no theory. Lenin literally wrote about this—without theory, there’s no revolution. The protests are amazing at showing working-class rage, but because they lack a cohesive structural alternative to capitalism, the state just waits them out. It keeps the status quo perfectly intact. Effectively, there needs to be direct action which is guided by strict political theory and a long-term organisational strategy. This can’t happen if there is no political organisation aiding with this, and I think that’s the ultimate issue.
If French protests are so effective why are they still stuck with neoliberalism? Why is their country still loyal to Israel and NATO? Why is the French ruling class completely unresponsive to French protester demands? You guys realize that this is like the 100th time in the last 10 years that France has erupted in protests over neoliberalism right? Americans tend to romanticize these protests but what have they accomplished? French protesters engage in revolutionary adventurism but don’t have a follow up on how to change the system in a meaningful way. So we repeat the same cycle over and over This is not a diss on the French protesters at all because they are just reacting to their material conditions, which is normal. But at what point do we begin having the conversation that western liberal democracy as a whole completely failed and no amount of “protests” will fix it. Protests without further revolutionary action of building real dual power seems to amount to nothing in the west

Larry David is a liberal Zionist at best. He is still friendly with Zionist Jerry Seinfeld. The "Palestinian Chicken" Curb Your Enthusiasm episode was disgusting Zionist propaganda that sexualized Palestinian women & painted Palestinians as anti-Semitic.

Jewish settlers in Palestine are laundering another Jewish settler as a beacon of anti-Zionism now. This is the environment we have created as a result of the Gaza Genocide: one of pure opportunism.

I’m now being quote-tweeted by the most racist Netanyahu on earth and, spoiler alert, it’s not Benjamin.
His mother was born in the land of Israel. Ashkenazi DNA is 60% Levantine (meaning from the land of Israel). We were conquered by the Romans colonisers who drove us out of our land, and renamed it from Judea to Palestine. The most common last name in the Palestinian authority is Al Masri - which mean Egyptian. Also common last names there - halabi - from Aleppo Syria , Hijazi (area in Saudi Arabia ) and so on. Mark Twain visited the holy land in the middle of the 19 century and described a completely empty land. Most of the “Palestinians” came as labour immigrants from the neighbouring lands during the late ottoman time and British Mandate. Palestinians can’t event pronounce “Palestine” because there’s no P in Arabic. The only people who called themselves “Palestinian” before 1948 were Jews - “Palestine post” and “Palestine airways” were Jewish Zionist owned during the British mandate . The Arabs of the land simply called themselves Arabs , and referred to that region as southern Syria. The British named that land Palestine after they took it from the ottomans , because that was the roman colonial name of the land. Before the PLO was invented by the Soviets in 1964 (when Gaza and Judea & Samaria were in Arab hands ) there was no Arab / Islamic association to that name. We are called Jews because we are from Judea , and Arabs are allied that way because they are from Arabia.

Thank fucking god frankly. DSA should not be endorsing someone who cannot even vocally support BDS and who has a record of supporting increased funding for the LAPD. And local chapters ABSOLUTELY should not be able to circumvent national mandates to green light the endorsements.
DSA's National Political Committee will vote on whether to expel Nithya Raman as a member and whether to rescind DSA-LA's endorsement of her on October 19 The NPC has already voted and found DSA-LA to have violated DSA R22 for failing to question Raman on her support for BDS

I wrote a full, detailed account of the October 16 settler and soldier attack on the olive harvest in Abu Falah. I think it may be the most important thing I’ve ever written. “The Palestinians Who Rescued Heidi Levine” Link in next tweet.
