Some of the planters in Gelli road haven't been getting the TLC they deserve so Cafe Connect have taken them under their wing as part of their gardening project with lots more bee friendly flowers.

We met with management staff of Arriva Wales. All the planters outside the train station are fully planted up. This has been a great collaboration between Bee Friendly Ponty, @YourPontypridd BID , Town Council, Newydd and Arriva.

Friends of Ynysangharad Park noticed people were throwing litter in to old tree stumps so decided to repurpose them.

There has been severe tree felling in Trallwn in the last year. A lot of people in Ponty have noticed how much has been cut back. Any plans to replant trees to compensate or relax the cutting to allow some of the roadside wild plants to thrive?@RCTCouncil .

Replying to @RCTCouncil
@RCTCouncil Planters outside Ponty train station are badly neglected. This is one of the first thing visitors see. I emailed 5 weeks ago but no reply. Please tidy them up and replant with pollinator friendly plants.

@RCTCouncil . This was a month ago and still nothing has been done. Please can you provide a timeline for when these planters are going to be cleaned up and replanted?
