Just last week, I brought leaders from both sides of the U.S.-Canada border together along with local small businesses to discuss this asinine tariff regime with Canada.
Folks want us to find all the partners we can to get us out of this. And that’s what I’m working hard to do.
People ask why young people feel disengaged from politics? Let’s start with the fact that one man - Elon Musk - can drop $300 million on campaigns.

I’m a proud Medicare for All supporter.
But as we fight for it, there are other things we can and must do to bring down the cost of care now.
We must dismantle ICE.
ICE was only created in 2003. We did immigration before ICE and we can do immigration enforcement without ICE.
Vermonters want a functioning, compassionate immigration system, and what we have now just isn't it.
Vermonters pay some of the highest health care costs in the nation.
And the Republicans’ so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill” has made things worse, like by gutting $1 trillion from Medicaid.
When you look at it as a whole, the so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill” was a disaster for Vermonters.
The majority of it is geared towards the ultra-wealthy and the rest of us have ultimately had to pay the price for it.
