I think it should be said that you may be forgiven for what you did at your lowest but it does not erase the deed. It shows the content of your character and what you were willing to tolerate/do when between a rock and a hard place. You 100% should be judged for your reactions under stress. This applies to every drastic action and decision you've taken. Saying "sorry" does not absolve you of accountability and now you're just an unserious person. Your desperation to still be seen as worthy of respect when you've done nothing to earn it, is laughable. You fucked up. Time to reap what you have sown.
