I think Andrew Neil is biased and scarily Right-wing but he is such a heavy hitter when it comes to Paxman-style interviews, including when holding his own side to account, that I am genuinely disappointed to see him go.

I’m afraid this is a classic Owen Jones lie. After Orlando (and Owen’s Sky walkout) Ch 4 News asked me on to discuss the massacre. Shortly after the producer called me back to say Owen (who was also booked) refused to come on if I appeared. So they stood me down. That’s the truth

This is a classic example of an alt right lie which has gone viral. After the Orlando massacre, in which I (proudly) walked off Sky News, I was bombarded by producers on multiple channels asking me to do more debates, which I turned down because I didn't want to be the story.
