We had a blast at St Andrews Methodist Church Bolton this morning, highlighting the work we do with addicts and the homeless. I’m not a fan of the different denominations or forms of churches, as we are all free to worship / express our own relationship with GOD.

Build rehabilitation prisons not super prisons. Stop making preparations just to house prisoners and start planning to reform them.

I started this project a few weeks ago, spent an hour a day to get to this point, it’s not quite finished yet but for my first attempt I’m quite chuffed.

Was great to meet the legend himself @Robbie9Fowler @hotelanfield such a humble guy and had time for everyone ❤️
It’s our 2nd session of our mental health group, thought provoking discussions
Mental health remains one of the most pressing issues in society
For men, vulnerability is still seen as weakness but when we lead with honesty & openness, it creates space for others to do the same.
Had a great time speaking to students at St Joseph’s High School Horwich about the dangers of drugs and the devastating consequences they can have. The Be Strong lads did brilliantly and spoke very well
Lloyd graduated from Be Strong 2024. was in a bad place when he arrived, due to life controlling issues nearly destroyed him & his relationship with his family.
However, Lloyd has continued in his recovery. Him & family are now reconciled and he has set up a man & van business.
I’d love to see some of these in the UK for the homeless. The first $10,000 energy efficient, high tech home developed by @elonmusk - this could be a game changer in affordable housing. I’d love to see a pilot of these used to help rehabilitate a small community.

I was delighted to sign the commencement order for the Victims and Prisoner Act 2024 yesterday. By strengthening the powers of the Victims’ Commissioner and improving support, we’re putting victims at the heart of the justice system.
Minister @JamesTCobbler signed a commencement order for the Victims & Prisoner Act 2024, bringing into force measures ensuring:
✅The Victims Commissioner can hold agencies to account
✅A simplified complaint process for victims
✅Relevant agencies comply with the Victims’ Code

Instead of going to prison they work for @IcelandFoods ?? What about trying something that’s tried and tested like @JamesTCobbler who actually employs ex offenders. #GMB @GMB
