Hello, BeSiDe network! We are inviting clinicians, patients and researchers with expertise in behaviour support, sedation, or general anaesthesia in dentistry to participate in the BeSiDe-CO Delphi Study led by Trinity College Dublin.

What’s Involved: ✅ Participation in 2-3 online surveys (20-30 mins each) over 3 months. 📷 An invitation to an online consensus meeting to finalise outcomes.
This study is a crucial step towards developing a Core Outcome Set for evaluating interventions that support patients in the dental setting—whether through nonpharmacological approaches, sedation, or general anaesthesia.

Kim’s work aims to improve accuracy of adjunct selection in dentistry. This will reduce bad experiences, reduce inappropriate care, reduce waste, and decrease eating times. Kim will present at #iadh24 @ISDHtweets @IADH_org

It is a shame that broader research community do not get chance to see the support that happens behind the scenes. If only they knew. I am sure you do this for lots of author teams. Defo - the editorial input made this paper way better. Your predecessor used to do the same.

The @BeSiDe_Network published a third article today: 2nd scoping review. This time exploring outcome measures across behaviour support techniques. Essential reading for any researchers measuring outcomes in GA, sedation and nonpharm. doi.org/10.1111/scd.12949
