The world says to hate back. Christ says to forgive. Don’t let the culture rewrite that calling. #BecomePeacemakers

One year ago today, Charlie Kirk was killed in an act of political violence on a college campus in Utah. His death shocked us and millions of people across America. It was a heartbreaking reminder of what can happen when anger and division are allowed to harden our hearts.

Jesus calls us to another way. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” He calls us to love our neighbors, pray for those who oppose us, forgive, show mercy, and see one another first as people made in the image of God.

Our prayer is that Christ would soften hearts, heal what is broken in our country, and help each of us become the peacemakers He has called us to be. And especially today, we ask that you keep Charlie’s family and loved ones in your prayers.

When Christians engage in politics, do people see Jesus? That’s why we created the Peacemakers’ Pledge: a commitment to stand firm in our convictions while treating every person with dignity and respect. What we do matters. So does how we do it. becomepeacemakers.org/pledge

The Peacemakers Pledge is a first-of-its-kind commitment calling public servants to lead with truth, civility, humility, and Christ-centered values. We believe Wyoming can lead the nation in a movement for principled, Christ-centered civic engagement.

It’s easy to get caught up in the noise of this world. But this Thanksgiving, we hope this verse reminds us that gratitude starts with remembering God’s steady goodness. Today, let’s slow down, be present, and show the kind of grace and peace our families need. #Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving, let’s give thanks even for the moments when our faith is tested. Jesus suffered wrongfully, was scapegoated, and betrayed, yet He never sought revenge. #becomepeacemaker #SundayScripture

🦃 In this Thanksgiving season, this is a great reminder for followers of Jesus. Paul wrote these words to believers facing hardship. He wanted to remind them that joy, prayer, and gratitude aren’t feelings that depend on our current circumstances, they are disciplines.
