Believe that communication is key.
Communication is 🔑!

“Instead of going to the transfer portal they all stayed and said ‘we need to work,’ now they’re in the Sweet 16.”- @sportsiren talking about Oregon St women’s team after winning 3 games the year before.
A story that needs to be talked about more
Always classy!
Tara VanDerveer on the text she sent all the Pac-12 coaches last week before the tournament:
"We had so many teams in the tournament, I just said, 'What the heck, I'm just going to be one big one.' I just said, 'As we end our Pac-12 family, just want to wish everyone the best of luck in the tournament. Going our separate ways, we've had a great and special thing.' ...I feel like I can call any single coach, talk to them. We have a really close group. It is incredibly sad to see the end to such a great conference that has the most teams in the Sweet 16... We have worked together to make the Pac-12 successful... If anything it was, 'Best wishes, but remember how special it has been.'"

I, Coach Karp, am stepping down after 8 years of rebuilding. Current players have the leadership qualities to keep this program competitive and FUN! Keep that family vibe. Rejoice in each other’s success as I will continue to rejoice in yours. Goals set goals achieved #GIG
Coach Karp is stepping down. After 8 years, rebuilding, goal has been completed regardless of how absolutely awesome next year’s team will be. She loves the players but it’s time to move forward. Want to coach a team with amazing parents? Contact HBUHSD.

Boys Basketball in the CIF Quarter-Finals Tuesday night at 7:00. The game is at FVHS so let's Pack the Gym! Wear your Baron Blue.
Our players gave it their all. Lost 50-46. Happy for the experience, sad for this season with these wonderful girls to be over. But we sure did learn a lot about being aggressive and we are young!!! #B4L🥹

RT @MichaelDavSmith: Line judge Mark Perlman is the ref who came in and ruled that Sidney Rice made the catch. Call of the playoffs.
We practice this over & over & over & over & over & over but executing with pressure of a real game shows maturity. #SoProud #PatSummitTribute

Can we, are we ALLOWED to ask what were ADs and administrators doing to help this coach prior to making the decision to quit? And to quit in midseason? Am I risking my own job asking this question? @AJG_20 @DceanB @GoDucksKG @KevinKkiernan @EdisonGbb @CalSwish_Nike
